WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A memo drafted by congressional Republicans alleging bias against President Donald Trump at the FBI will be released on Friday, a senior White House official said.

The official said it was expected to be released by the House Intelligence Committee, which had already voted to make it public. It was not clear whether there may be some redactions given national security concerns raised by the FBI or whether the committee may need to vote on its release again given alterations made by the committee’s chairman, Devin Nunes.

The things they think are “secret” may come as no surprise to those who have been paying attention. Let’s see what this tells us something new about Carter Page and his role as a FBI informant going back to 2014. A FISA warrant was first issued issued way back then as part of an FBI operation in which Page took part, and testified the next year, but somehow that's news to the MSM.

Keep in mind, Page’s later walk-into the campaign and efforts to entrap Manforte and others was the source of much of the original Steele Dossier. Please see:

P.S.: For those who may doubt the importance of Carter Page played as a primary source in the Dossier, please see the little-reported excerpt at page 17 of the Steele report, below. Page was not only only a participant in Steele’s drama, according to the Dossier, he played a central role in conceiving and promoting the alleged Russian-Trump conspiracy. Page, who had served as an FBI informant, was the one who pushed the idea of the Trump campaign leaking the emails. See the passage at Dossier, page 17 of 35 (17/35):

Detail
1. Speaking in confidence on 9 August 2016, an ethnic Russian associate of Republican US presidential candidate Donald TRUMP discussed the reaction inside his camp, and revised tactics therein resulting from recent negative publicity concerning Moscow’s clandestine involvement in the campaign.
TRUMP’s associate reported that the aim of leaking the DNC e-mails to Wiki Leaks during the Democratic Convention had been to swing supporters of Bernie SANDERS away from Hillary CLINTON and across to TRUMP. These voters were perceived as activist and anti-status quo and anti-establishment and in that regard sharing many features with the TRUMP campaign, including a visceral dislike of Hillary CLINTON.
This objective had been conceived and promoted, inter alia, by TRUMP’s foreign policy adviser Carter PAGE who had discussed it directly with the ethnic Russian associate.

I've wondered if the Carter Page connection might be the most substantial angle to Mueller's investigation. The Dueling Memos should provide excellent theater for our "Both Sides Do It" media.

But conservatives have concluded that the memo, written by Trump ally Devin Nunes, serves a far loftier purpose: Its advocates are motivated by a sincere concern about civil liberties. The Washington Examiner’s Byron York reports, “One reason some Republicans cite for their interest is based in civil liberties: If they’ll do it to Carter Page today, they’ll do it to you tomorrow.” National Review editorializes, “[F]rom what we know of Nunes and his colleagues, they have long been sincerely alarmed at what they’ve learned about how the FBI operated in 2016.” Sincerely!

Now that's entertainment! I think I'm gonna grab my popcorn, make a couple of burnt offerings to The Kush Gods and enjoy the show.

only person in the Trump circle for whom there may have been sufficient reason for a FISA Judge to (re)issue a surveillance warrant. Recall, in 2014 Page was used by the FBI to plant bugs in binders passed to Russian intelligence agents working out of the UN mission in NY. That would have required a FISA warrant, which can be renewed once issued. I think someone in FBI counterintelligence (Peter Strzok, most probably) had the bright idea to reuse Page and his renewable warrant to penetrate the Trump circle.

The major media has been absolutely silent about the fact that Page was an FBI informant who testified in camera against the Russian SVR defendants in NY in 2015.

George Papadopolous seems to have been a secondary figure in the FISA surveillance game, and he appears to have been only recently given a legend after serious doubts were raised about the Steele Memo.

is that for over one year, we the taxpayers have been funding something for which still no crime has been been defined. Where is the probable cause? I am fed up with this witch hunt. If the government needs to investigate this, let them go through the proper channels as enumerated under the Fourth amendment, not through a FISA warrant based upon a bogus opposition "research paper" paid for by the DNC and Hillary Clinton's campaign.

I want the memo released. Then we the people can make up our own minds as to its validity.

Second, I want the Patriot Act to go away. It is unconstitutional and what I believe we are seeing is an example of how it is being abused.

But it had already been established by people not notorious for lying that Wikileaks did not obtain the emails from Russians or any State actor... And they have no reason to lie.

Associated with (gasp!) an ETHNIC RUSSIAN!!! Must be one of them there Super-Predators Hillary always wanted to bring to heel, only all adult White Russians are now included with those scary Black children. And this one is being used to corroborate the official excuse for attacking Russia and now China as well, since both are going off the petrodollar.

Also, remember when all of the money is stated to have started getting sucked up to the top and life began to get steadily harder all around except at the top, during the 1970s? Coincidence?

The end of the petrodollar? China and Russia's plan from petroyuan to gold

As seen in my previous article, US military power is on the decline, and the effects are palpable. In a world full of conflicts brought on by Washington, the economic and financial shifts that are occurring are for many countries a long-awaited and welcome development.

If we were to identify what uniquely fuels American imperialism and its aspirations for global hegemony, the role of the US dollar would figure prominently. An exploration of the depth of the dollar's effects on the world economy is therefore necessary in order to understand the consequential geopolitical developments that have occurred over the last few decades.

The reason the dollar plays such an important role in the world economy is due to the following three major factors: the petrodollar; the dollar as world reserve currency; and Nixon's decision in 1971 to no longer make the dollar convertible into gold. As is easy to guess, the petrodollar strongly influenced the composition of the SDR basket, making the dollar the world reserve currency, spelling grave implications for the global economy due to Nixon's decision to eliminate the dollar's convertibility into gold. Most of the problems for the rest of the world began from a combination of these three factors.

Dollar-Petrodollar-Gold

The largest geo-economic change in the last fifty years was arguably implemented in 1973 with the agreement between OPEC, Saudi Arabia and the United States to sell oil exclusively in dollars. ...

...The reason why the United States has been able to fuel this global demand for dollars is linked to the need for other countries to own dollars in order to be able to buy oil and other goods. For example, if a Bolivian company exports bananas to Norway, the payment method requires the use of dollars. Norway must therefore own US currency to pay and receive the goods purchased. Similarly, the dollars Bolivia receives will be used to buy other necessities like oil from Venezuela. It may seem unbelievable, but practically all countries until a few years ago used US dollars to trade amongst each other, even countries that were anti-American and against US imperialist policies.

This continued use of the dollar has had some devastating effects on the globe. ...

...Dollars and War: The End?

The problems for the United States began in the late 1990s, at a time of expansion for the US empire following the demise of the Soviet Union. The stated geopolitical goal was the achievement of global hegemony. With unlimited spending capacity and an ideology based on American exceptionalism, this attempt seemed to be within reach for the policymakers at the Pentagon and Wall Street. A key element for achieving global hegemony consisted of stopping China, Russia and Iran from creating a Eurasian area of integration. ...

...In the next and last article, we will concentrate on how successful Russia, Iran and China have been in forging a multipolar world order with the goal of peacefully containing the fallout from the collapsing American empire, and how this alternative world order is opening up a new geopolitical landscape for America's allies and other countries.

The US PTB are desperate for any lunatic excuse to try to bomb them all into submission, even though all of their money will blow up with the rest of the world when they set off Mutual Assured Destruction.

That quote posted from the Steele report's actually hilarious, this part especially:

...TRUMP’s associate reported that the aim of leaking the DNC e-mails to Wiki Leaks during the Democratic Convention had been to swing supporters of Bernie SANDERS away from Hillary CLINTON and across to TRUMP. These voters were perceived as activist and anti-status quo and anti-establishment and in that regard sharing many features with the TRUMP campaign, including a visceral dislike of Hillary CLINTON. ...

First off, shows that they didn't even want to mention Jill Stein, for many the only remaining sane and logical choice after Hillary's faction cheated Bernie, America and the world of his Dem Presidential nomination win and a Libertarian who other Bernie voters preferred to the lying, cheating Mad Bomber Fracking Queen or the lying, cheating, equally-corporate-serving Trump, to maintain the pretense that the Corporate Two-Party Trade-Off are the only electoral 'choices' Americans can ever have.

And a fair number, often with reluctance, decided to go for Trump to try to keep The Mad Bomber out of office - and away from a scenario where she could illegally announce that no-fly zone she/her donors wanted in Syria, a sovereign country which had invited Russia in to help but decidedly had not invited the US military - or their pet terrorists - to barge in to attempt to take control over and try to partition their country - or, as planned, to shoot down their ally's welcome and terrorist-fighting planes to set off a full-scale nuclear war killing all life on the planet.

They admit right in that quote there that voters already had a visceral dislike of the warmongering, Likud/corporate-serving-at-American cost, clearly psychopathic Clinton, for far, far, far too many reasons to even begin to list them here, (her character and record says it all, at great length) yet have essentially claimed that it actually took some RUSSIAN!!! FB (sooooo revealingly) BLM (these guys feel that real Americans know that Black lives don't really matter and have to be told that they do by evil RUSSIAN!!! ads? Shows what TPTB et al right on down to Police Chiefs think, as if we couldn't guess by the murders, etc.) and cute puppy ads mostly run after the election to get enough voters to vote against the blatant nomination cheater, liar, 'Dead broke after leaving the White House and actually had to borrow to buy multi-million-dollar houses until becoming corrupt and self-admittedly incompetent Secretary of State to run pay-to-play scams while keeping sensitive State Department material on an insecure server' and 'Decider' that Americans could never have public health-care or a living wage, for somebody who at least mentioned and faked caring about the appalling state of life for most US citizens. And I'm not fond of her myself.

Even her supporters routinely told better-informed people to 'hold their noses to vote for her' to keep Trump out.

Those recognizing the need of the democratic policies Bernie supported weren't that stupid. And I'd hope that they aren't now, either.

The degree of RUSSIANS!!! EVERYWHERE!!! DOING EVERYTHING!!! lunacy has brainwashed some viewers of corporate media to a terrifying extent. And it's all the fault of everyone else that Hillary lost Her Turn but especially RUSSIA!!! (since blaming the voters, DNC and all of the rest of the lengthy list I can't even recall right now didn't work out as she'd hoped.)

WikiLeaks figure says ‘disgusted’ Democrat leaked Clinton campaign emails

By Dave Boyer - The Washington Times - Wednesday, December 14, 2016

A WikiLeaks figure is claiming that he received leaked Clinton campaign emails from a “disgusted” Democratic whistleblower, while the White House continued to blame Russian hackers Wednesday for meddling in the presidential election and asserted that Donald Trump was “obviously aware” of Moscow’s efforts on his behalf.

Craig Murray, a former British ambassador to Uzbekistan and a close associate of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, said in the report by the Daily Mail that he flew to Washington for a clandestine handoff with one of the email sources in September.

He said he received a package in a wooded area near American University.
“Neither of [the leaks] came from the Russians,” Mr. Murray told the British newspaper. “The source had legal access to the information. The documents came from inside leaks, not hacks.” ...

... Assange says WikiLeaks didn't get emails from Russia
John Bacon, USA TODAY Published 3:08 p.m. ET Nov. 3, 2016 | Updated 3:34 p.m. ET Nov. 3, 2016

...“The original sources of the Podesta emails are Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and his correspondents," Assange said in a statement.

Normally Wikileaks reveals no information on sources, but he said he felt compelled to rule out "any state" as the source of the Podesta leaks. Russian officials also have denied any connection to the leaks.

“Saying nothing leads to a vacuum into which false claims about our sources can be projected," Assange said in a statement. "We tolerate such claims until they are used to distract from the publication."

He said he was confident that eliminating governments as the source of the leak would not jeopardize the true source of the leaks.

Marsha Catron of the Department of Homeland Security told USA TODAY the agency had nothing further to add on Assange's statement. ...

WOW! BREAKING=> Julian Assange Suggests Seth Rich – Who Was MURDERED in DC – Was Wikileaks DNC Source!
August 9, 2016 by Jim Hoft

On July 8, 2016, 27 year-old Democratic staffer Seth Conrad Rich was murdered in Washington DC. The killer or killers took nothing from their victim, leaving behind his wallet, watch and phone.

Shortly after the killing, Redditors and social media users were pursuing a “lead” saying that Rich was en route to the FBI the morning of his murder, apparently intending to speak to special agents about an “ongoing court case” possibly involving the Clinton family.

Seth Rich’s father Joel told reporters, “If it was a robbery — it failed because he still has his watch, he still has his money — he still has his credit cards, still had his phone so it was a wasted effort except we lost a life.” ...

... From the video:

Julian Assange: Whistleblowers go to significant efforts to get us material and often very significant risks. As a 27 year-old, works for the DNC, was shot in the back, murdered just a few weeks ago for unknown reasons as he was walking down the street in Washington.

Reporter: That was just a robbery, I believe. Wasn’t it?

Julian Assange: No. There’s no finding. So… I’m suggesting that our sources take risks. ...

We know what they are, and we know what they do. The Big Lie ain't going to work on us.

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.

A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.

As I've been saying all along, Carter Page is central to the Dossier, and the Dossier was the basis for the FISA warrant (re)authorization. Page showed himself to be an FBI agent provocateur who inserted listening devices into materials given Russians in NY as documented in the 2015 prosecution of the SVR agents. That's shown in the links in my Original Post.

Just came across this in yesterday's Post: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2018/02/01/heres-wh...

The memo has yet to be released, so it is impossible to say with certainty and specificity what it says. But Republicans who have seen the document say it will describe how a research effort funded by Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee ended up playing a role in the FBI's obtaining a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court warrant to surveil former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

The research effort was that of former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele, who produced a now infamous dossier of lurid allegations against Trump. Steele had been hired for his work by Fusion GPS, an opposition research firm who had themselves been hired by Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee.
