Thank You, el, I can't see the picture from p. 332
of "Hawaii and its people, the land of rainbow and palms", but my avatar is quite nice too, rainbow colors, waves, dreams through the pipe towards a palm tree. Stole it from an Hawaiian newspaper.
Have a beautiful Hawaiian dream. Their rainbows bent towards beauty. What more can you ask for.

Hi, mimi. Those pictures I refer to down there are visible to
those reading this on Facebook. There's a widget to load them into when you create a post and then it's all out of my hands. I don't Facebook, so I never see them after finding and loading them either. I get most of them lately from the internet archive, so if you are really desperate to see them, you could probably search it using that wording. The art.picture/whatever section is up on flickr too, and that's where I access it.
Beyond that, I love your avatar. A splash of brightness and color plus, at this resolution, sans glasses, it looks abstract and pseudo-random.

Monday sing along with Todd
This tube recording cracked me up, because Todd forgets the words and has to start over. It was during his "Interactive" phase in the 90s, those shows were fun as hell I danced my ass off. Happy Monday!
"Day Job"
Don't quit your day job
Corporate-cry baby
A bit wiser and a whole lot older, feelin' bolder
Suckin' up to the last stockholder with a
Golden parachute slung over your shoulder
Jacked-up-be-boy
Another fool got stuck in the whirlpool
Lookin' for a fast break, not enough cake to go 'round
Another brother goes down, and he's out of the gene pool
Media-pimp
Day after day, night after night if the money is right
The campaign goes on to make right seem wrong
With computer animation and a hip-hop song
Land of opportunity, this is the
Stop
Don't quit your day job
Cowboy-politician
Suckin' up to the aristocracy
Not even sure if you like democracy
Tryin' to establish an American royalty, a personal dynasty
Priests-of-the-airwaves
Let the buyer beware, it's a jungle out there
So buy my advice and don't think twice
Then me and your money will go someplace sunny

'Cause you don't excel or do anything well
Since you slipped past thirty, better keep the sex dirty

Gotta love the Todd
If you don't have the 'Nazz" album pressed in the red plastic...your collection is not complete.

Good morning, eyo. Thanks for the morning wake-up tune :-)
The German strike movement advert is interesting in that it advocates warding off the nefarious plans of the Unions allegedly working hand in hand with the political reactionaries to institute ?? One cannot help but wonder what that's all aboout and to free associatively think of the recent disclosure here concerning the bribing of Union Management by corporate assholes.

I like it el...nothing in particular day
It is road trimming day here. We use propane gas and the truck driver complained about my road growing in and scratching his truck. He is right- so hi ho hi ho it is off to the road I go...with saw and loppers in hand. There's always something to do around the homestead!
So I'm sorry eyo I've got a job dis-uniting limbs from trees (although I like the link on German workers uniting).
Y'all have a good one!

Good morning, Lookout. I lied, it is actually Kansas Day,
but only in Kansas. Cue the Wiki:
Celebrations involve corn, red shoes & tornadoes.
Hey, speaking of Tornados
Enjoy your sawing and lopping.

Was, better now.

Good morning ...
Here's Edward Abbey.
We wanted decent healthcare, a living wage and free college.
The Democrats gave us Biden and war instead.
Wonderful picture, Az, thanks and good morning to ya.
Your presence made me suddenly wish I was in Yuma right now, or, actually, a bit upriver camped at that county park on the Colorado just outside of Blythe.

Never been to that particular park,
but I know it's hot there in the summer. We love Yuma. When I was younger I used to drive straight through from here to L.A., eight hours more or less. I don't do that anymore. Yuma is about the midpoint so we break the drive up and stay a night at the Historic Coronado Motor Hotel. There's a good Mexican restaurant across the street. It's run by a family from Guadalajara so they have my favorite Mexican dish, Carne en su Jugo.

Ugh, black and white.
Ha ha ha
Is that a 29"?
Neither Russia nor China is our enemy.
Neither Iran nor Venezuela are threatening America.

Your picture of Abbey ...
... reminds me of this piece I've been doing lately, 3 minutes.

Red beans and rice cure, yay for food combining
I rode my bike to the store the other day, woo strong! For those following along, after I made that hamburger helper thingy, I went back for more beef and made a pot of stroganoff but it flopped. Ick, grass fed beef is an acquired taste I forgot I didn't like. And Eddie Murphy fell out of the lint trap again, this time it was Beverly Hills Cop I think? The part where one of 'em says it takes three years to digest beef or something like that, I didn't look it up.
Yesterday I had a big bowl of red beans and rice, and wow it was good. Still craving garbage meat, or some kind of fat maybe, not sure. I went back and got pork sausage, celery, garlic, and made a concoction that reeks of holy heaven and tastes pretty good too. I've gained two pounds since crashing, and y'all talked me through. thanks
I also added a quart of cow milk back in to the mix, in my tea and coffee, to satisfy a crave. Meat and dairy are not exactly my idea of a healthy diet, I am just going with my guts. Feels better, so what? I don't know. My leg cramps have almost disappeared for the first time in months, doing daily calf stretches and minding the diet.
thanks
A bath in Epson Salts?
I got a 4-pack of toilet paper today! More than one roll for three bathrooms finally. I did have a back stock of Kleenex.

Multi-purpose epsom salts
In fact my neighbor gifted me a fancy bottle of Pure Magnesium Oil "from the ancient zechstein seabed", I spray it on and leave it for twenty minutes, thought it helped me a lot last summer. There's a limit to how much water I can use so I rarely take baths, just short showers or even "navy" showers is plenty compared to living in a tent. I'm not complaining.
I order cases of T.P. online since selling my car, bulk is cheaper too. Becoming poor has really opened my eyes, I cannot stop remembering "looters" on the TV machine, inevitably someone has armfuls of T.P. and water as they escape the cops. Criminals for wanting to stay alive and wipe their asses. sheesh I hope it never happens to anyone else. good luck
Beans and rice monday
Beans and rice is Cosa Rica's national dish, but black beans
iirc. They toss in just a little shredded chicken, maybe a little onion, etc. I like to cook up a little for breakfast, beans, rice, just a little stock and crack an egg into it, then stir it into a porridge.

Could the community help me find an article?
My employee understands most of the Russian ads, etc... came before the election, and I understand they came afterwards.
Can anyone please steer me to the best info out there to resolve our misunderstandings?
Much appreciated. I am covered up with clients in the office!
