Why? I dunno. It just seems more intuitive to look to my right to watch for new stuff. It could be because I'm used to Daily Kos and the Recent list was on the right side, so that's just where I'm used to scanning for new stuff. It was fine on the left side too. I can go either way!
mobile it is the scrolling. But I'm right handed so for folks that are lefties the left will be better.
I can scroll with one hand if it on the right, but I think that we should make it easier for the folks writing Essays. We need content for folks to scroll through :).
Moving the column to the right, makes it so much easier on the phone. I even like it better on my lap top. I read from left to right. All of the stuff on the left side stuff I just had to filter out.
I absolutely vote for the column to be relocated to the right-hand side of the page.

Diatomaceous Earth is great stuff and chemical free. It works on all kinds of critters, like the slime gnats that come with potting soil.
Diatomite is used as an insecticide, due to its abrasive and physico-sorptive properties. The fine powder absorbs lipids from the waxy outer layer of insects' exoskeletons, causing them to dehydrate. Arthropods die as a result of the water pressure deficiency, based on Fick's law of diffusion.

I find the right to work better for me. This, however, is because I "physically" interact with computers, so to me moving the mouse over to the left side of the screen requires me to swivel a lot, while on the right side it is near to my mouse. For instance, on one of my blogs, I have a right-side sidebar that gives me no problem whatsoever (meaning, like Alpha said--my eyes don't continue to track to the right to pick up the material in the R H sidebar), I 'think' because there is a very sharp color contrast, or delineation, between the main blog and the sidebar. I do like to have voice and to be heard- thank you.
By the way, I do like the blue color scheme it is more in alignment with our political leanings. Besides I could never get anything to rhyme with Orange
right now it's back on the left. I like the left because I'm a far lefty not only politically, but handed and brain wired by god knows what. I have a suggestion that is about the physical organization of the site. Hesitant here to bring this up as I know this is not a self censoring but a free thought type of place but could people please post their short posts about say, electoral political shit they just read on fox or any other place, in OT's or EB? Or maybe new threads that relate under a category. It short circuits my feeble mind to see and open and read so many excellent post put up as 'essays' or diaries. As a designing lover of organization, Virgo type with a short attention span it scatters my mind.
But then again it just might be my own mind. It needs parameters even if they are arbitrary and unnecessary. I'll learn to spin it, regardless off how it shakes out.

I could see the right side bar on the Community Content Page. Was I tripping or sumthin?
Do I hear the sound of guillotines being constructed?
“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." ~ President John F. Kennedy
I must have been...
the one tripping because I couldn't see it and couldn't get it to display.
Same here- community
I do like to have voice and to be heard- thank you.
By the way, I do like the blue color scheme it is more in alignment with our political leanings. Besides I could never get anything to rhyme with Orange
I prefer the left
I'm left handed and it seems natural to me there...but I'd get used to it on the right if that's how we went.
Also please put a rotating restaurant on the top floor. Thanks.
Will a...
Presto Pizza Maker be a viable substitute?
of course...or an espresso machine
or even a hot plate.
It seems to be shifting
right now it's back on the left.
I like it on the left
But I constantly get my lefts and rights mixed up...so I'm not really sure which way is left.
Oh, and I'm a pilot. Don't let that discourage you...I have a compass.
"I’m a human being, first and foremost, and as such I’m for whoever and whatever benefits humanity as a whole.” —Malcolm X
my son is like that with left and right and all I know
is that he always lands perfectly well on his two feet, so I am not concerned and would fly with you any time.
