AG Jeff Sessions flips his finger at DC Crimes
.
In this remarkable exchange between U.S. Rep Jim Jordan (OH) and Attorney General (in name only) Jeff Sessions, we see Jordan lay out a summary of the specific crimes of collusion committed by FBI and DNC operatives in 2016.
And yet the subject of the many apparent crimes that directly connect the Clinton Campaign, the DNC, the FBI, James Comey and the Russian Dossier, the Clinton Foundation were all just shrugged off by Jeff Sessions as unworthy of any comment.
Instead, Sessions dishonestly and falsely implies that these issues were somehow addressed by (FBI) Robert Mueller -- who is not looking at anything other than the dealings former Trump associates, and was of course himself directly involved in the Uranium one and Russian Dossier scandals -- making it impossible here to ever get at the truth behind any of these issues.
Sessions snotty arrogance, and total refusal to deal with any of these serious crimes is stunningly shocking.

---
At the very end of this questioning, Rep. Jordan asks Sessions if he would appoint a special counsel to investigate any of this obvious deviant activity by the FBI and DNC.
Sessions responds back that he would not appoint a special counsel.
---
So the Clintons, Mueller, James Comey, Obama, the DNC, the FBI, The Clinton Foundation -- the whole rotten lot of 'em -- have yet again been assured that they have special elite status, and remain totally above the Law.
Jeff Sessions needs to be fired immediately!
His loyalty is committed to protecting the Swamp.
This is not "incompetence" on display, it is further (and new) corruption.
He is by intent refusing to do his job.

A message from U.S. Rep Trey Gowdy (SC)
From the same hearing today ....
It get's crazy when you agree with idiot's
pretty much want to see a justice that isn't about to
happen anytime soon.

Exactly,
Both ends of the spectrum want to drain the swamp.
Why can't we come together and do this?
Imagine if we could come together for this single solitary common purpose?
We could build on it and maybe, just maybe end these interventionalist wars consuming the national treasure we all have a stake in.
Neither Russia nor China is our enemy.
Neither Iran nor Venezuela are threatening America.
Cuba is a dead horse, stop beating it.
From what I see of the Tea Partiers
RINO's like Mcconnell, Ryan and such. They're in complete
denial of their hero orange top doing anything near wrong
very similar in fact to hilbots.,

Same corporate media brainwashing, really; the 'right-wing' has just had more and longer fear-hate programming in more areas through their media, to make a 'social' difference between a split of carefully set-at-odds voters intended never to unite against their masters.
But Bernie made quite a difference during his run and since, and quite a number of people have seen through the 'left and right must always fight' propaganda to unite for common goals of decent lives in a democracy.
Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.
A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
I so hope that you're right
and though I agree, have enough seen the light?

Populism .vs. Establishment/Globalism/War/"Centrism"
There are two populist political strands that actually have a lot in common and overlap.
The libertarian right and the "progressive" left.
It is the large Crony, Centrist, Establishment, Party-Apparatus, Globalist, Corporatist, Think-Tank, DC-Lobbyist, K-Street, Fake Mainstream Media, CIA, U.S. State Dept, Wall Street Cabal that is where all the truly devious and evil policies, swindling, corruption, mass-murder, and brainwashing comes from.
The principled right and left extremes could come together, but it is not likely to happen until the Party Establishment of both Parties is destroyed. Both the Sanders movement and the Trump movement (and the earlier "Ron Paul" movement before it) presented threats to upset the apple cart and overthrow the Party Orthodoxy that could bring about a wholesale remaking of both political parties.
But as we see with Jeff Sessions, too many Establishment GOP-ers are just obstructing any real change or progress. Trump is going to have to fire a lot of people around him if he ever wants to fulfill the promise and themes of his Campaign (and the movement behind it).
I'll bet if Sanders were President, he too would be stymied and blocked by the corrupt DEM-Establishment and blocked (much like Jimmy Carter was, an honest man, in the 1970s)
If Sanders had gotten elected
As for his promises on Infrastructure, as long as "we" are willing to sign that note for that debt to build it all, he's great doing that. But "we" will NOT profit from it, nor will we recoup the cost of that bond, he and his developer friends are the intended recipients of such largesse, not the pathetic "losers," 99% of humanity.

TBD...
I don't think a real estate billionaire gains anything financially by stepping aside from that and taking a government job. Trump is also the first U.S. President since John F. Kennedy to refuse and not accept his public U.S. Presidential salary (which is $400,000 -- mere peanuts to Trump). Yet would Hillary Clinton have done that??
Time will tell whether or not his agenda to revitalize American Industry and native American Manufacturing will succeed. But his killing of the horrible TPP was a good first step. This shows that he is a different animal from: Obama, Bush I and II, Clinton I and II, Reagan, Gore, Kerry, McCain, Romney, -- and the entire rest of the GOP and DEM Establishment. Hillary had called the TPP "The Gold Standard", and Obama tried multiple times to sneakily Fast-Track it through Congress to get it into Law. So the killing of TPP and NAFTA (which will now either be renegotiated or killed by executive order) is a major paradigm shift here. The Globalists and "New World Order" Oligarchs did not like or want this.
Trump is also still tweeting about breaking-up Big Pharma. And he will probably position his Infrastructure Plan around the time of his re-election to put the Democrats on the defensive. I agree it will cost a bundle, ... but so far the Trump Economy 3.1 GDP far exceeds anything from either of Obama's two-terms. Unemployment is at a 17-year low. 1.5 million new jobs created. Let's give this some time and see where we're at.
My prediction is that after about a couple of years all the hysteria about "Russia..Russia..Russia" will have burnt out -- and people will start to recognize tangible improvements to the U.S. Economy, and our American Manufacturing Base again. But his biggest problem is the Establishment U.S. Media and DC Beltway Globalist Elites who want to find something to stick on him so that they can impeach him (and return back to status-quo agenda), and also the fact that he is surrounded by Neocon Warmongers who will try to trick him into some major War.
If he can make it past this and into a second-term, he then has the leeway to fire and replace Jeff Sessions and hopefully pick someone much better. I agree that the swamp will never be drained (it is too big and too powerful), but Trump does understand some of what is going on here...
Because neither end wants to drain the swamp
It's the same thing with all partisan activity. Red team wants to drain the swamp of blue gators. Blue team wants to drain it of red gators. It's the same thing with election integrity and most other similar issues.
A lot of wanderers in the U.S. political desert recognize that all the duopoly has to offer is a choice of mirages. Come, let us trudge towards empty expanse of sand #1, littered with the bleached bones of Deaniacs and Hope and Changers.

Instead of draining the swamp
it looks like the Trump administration is protecting it. The real story of the election collusion is from the other side. But it didn't stop after the election. This seems to been done to hamper Trump's presidency.
The other investigation that needs to happen is into the Clintons during Her time as SOS. She used her position to enhance both her foundation and Bill's pockets. Has this happened before with any other SOS and their spouse? This was why Her used their private email server. This gave Chelsea the ability to see where her mom would be doing business and where to send her dad. The family business....
