@Bollox Ref I've been rolling it over in my head and I can't figure out who the intended audience is. On the surface, it sounds like a complete fabrication. If it's true, I don't see how it's supposed to make her look good. For one thing, she's already lost the Hillbots by being any bit critical of Her. So the "I thought of all the women and just couldn't go through with it" stuff looks like the pandering crap it is.

But to the rest, here is someone in a position to know Her rigged the primary to begin with. Brazile apparently is well aware of the chaos Her is causing in the party. Then, Donna has serious reservations on Her health (I am guessing from the context) to the point where she realizes the need to replace Her on the ticket. But, she doesn't because her feels got in the way? Or something?

So, Brazile wants us to believe she was the last line of defence between what she knew was a fatally flawed campaign and losing to Trump (not that I think Biden/Booker would have been much of an improvement) and she couldn't do what she should have done, assuming the decision was hers to make. And we're supposed to feel how about this? I really don't get it. This may be the most confusing part yet of the "don't blame me, but here's all the dirt" tour she's on.

She sounds as though she's off her rocker.

At this point, I don't believe any of these hacks. They'll say or do anything to gain an advantage.

not after she lied on CNN about giving Her debate questions. CNN canned her and I doubt any other network will pick her up. She's way too hot right now.

I'm with others who can't figure out what this game is, especially now. The media was talking non stop about the Mueller inditements and hasn't this kicked them off the networks?

Maybe they did treat her like dirt and this is her revenge?

While I'm sure they treated her like dirt (who haven't they?) all the quotes I've seen from Brazile, including the ones you bring up, are overly dramatic, self-pitying and self-serving, even as she's dishing her dirt. Even though she's confirming what I think happened, I just can't accept her at face value. I didn't trust her then and I still don't.

As to what she's up to, I think she's realized the bus has rolled by and she ain't on it. So, she's got a book to sell and is aiming for becoming a professional talking head. And I think she's trying to step out from any guilt she may feel or thinks she's been assigned (but again, who hasn't been blamed for Her's wipeout?)

This could get more interesting as it goes, especially if Brazile wraps herself in identity politics as she's done to deflect criticism before. Time will tell, as they say. How it ends or if it matters, I can't even guess.

There was certainly a lot of talk about Biden, both as Vice President and as President in case Hill crashed but however often it was repeated, it seemingly didn't go over too well, as far as I recall.

I predicted they would do this. Then they didn't. Would be interesting if they had really considered it.

And DB felt she would be physically unable to undergo the campaign? You remember that "CT." I guess more will come out when the book is published. Although DB is basically as far from my like list as HER herself, I am enjoying watching it play out. No sense wasting time talking to Dems/Hillbots about it. Neighborhood friends sent me a petition today from the Equality PAC asking me to sign if you agree with HRC about LBTQ+ rights... Not only did I let the neighbors know what I thought, but I immediately unsubscribed from that mailing list and as a reason told them that any organization using HER to build support is not one i could ever support. She just will not go away, will she!
