Who would've thunk those photos of her in her sunglasses just tippy-tapping away on her Blackberry would eventually come back to haunt her? They were all over both Google and Facebook. Several outside firms connected to Google also worked on the Clinton 2016 campaign. Those included Civis Analytics and The Groundwork, two companies that compiled data and polling on voters for the campaign and that were funded by Google’s Schmidt. Hillary for America spent more than $590,000 on services from The Groundwork and at least $48,000 on Civis Analytics in this campaign cycle. Clinton’s primary super PAC, Priorities USA, has spent more than $800,000 with Civis Analytics this cycle.
Had she won the election, Clinton would have been significantly indebted to Google and Schmidt, whom she has referred to as her “longtime friend.” For comparison, Schmidt’s future team at Civis Analytics was credited with helping produce his five million vote margin of victory during Obama’s 2012 election, and Schmidt subsequently enjoyed extensive access at the Obama White House.
Schmidt took on a similarly active role from the earliest days of the Clinton 2016 campaign, helping design, finance, and implement its digital voter-targeting operation. Internal campaign emails released by WikiLeaks show that Schmidt met with the team working on Clinton’s incipient campaign on April 2nd and 3rd, 2014, before it was even announced. Just three months after the meetings, with future campaign chairman John Podesta and former Clinton State Department aide Cheryl Mills, The Groundwork was incorporated and housed near the Clinton campaign headquarters to work on her voter-targeting effort.

Yeah, Google and Facebook sure are working for Russia. I agree but I hadn't really given it the same thought as I have about me cutting the cord with MSM. But now that you point that out, I'm certain that my infosphere is substantially different than a lot of people's because I don't participate in any of those three.
My web browsing is anonymized. I don't carry cookies from any of them. I don't use google for search and I see no point in twitter. Facebook is useful for my business pages but I certainly don't look at it for social content. I use an adblocker so I don't see any ads.
My information sphere in any given area is built much like my political one. It starts out with sites I somewhat trust like this one and then various links send me to other sites which, after some time, may make it to my "mostly trustworthy" list. I can't imagine what value I'd get from stupid memes floating across my awareness every 5 seconds. Each one would need to be investigated or ignored. I don't have the time for all that investigation so they'd just be ignored.
A lot of wanderers in the U.S. political desert recognize that all the duopoly has to offer is a choice of mirages. Come, let us trudge towards empty expanse of sand #1, littered with the bleached bones of Deaniacs and Hope and Changers.

The sensible approach to media and the Internet you use does't expose you as much. But you also have the ability to discern and analyze. I've seen it. So you are fairly invulnerable to the twisted narrative, which can be a lonely existence in a totalitarian system. In this community, people generally start at zero when confronting a new IED of info. They poke at it and analyze it, look at the effect it has first. Then they build a case, for or against. Emotional reactions tend to come later. It's a group dynamic that's not really susceptible to bullshit propaganda, yet not overly cynical and beyond empathy.
It's the people who vote that worry me. They're the ones who need see more transparency; who need to be tipped off in advance; who need the warnings on the label to forewarn them. Their inner gatekeepers are either untrained or sub par. They are the ones who determine our futures.

I don't think anyone is. I think I fight the influence and it takes a LOT of effort. What happens, however, when you're not immersed in the shit-flow 24x7 is that you don't have to expend that effort. I get for free what otherwise would've required near constant attention and mental rigor.
My assumption is that people have studied manipulating other people for quite some time now and there's a TON Of money and power in it so they have studied it thoroughly. I think they are very, very good at it. Heck, just watching the rest of my family (not counting my 2 sons) is instructive. All of them are very bright, very well read, etc. All of them think Obama is a good person and Hillary would've been a great president. They also believe pretty much everything else that spews out of their TV's.

According to this person, it will protect Europeans from a significant portion of the online surveillance that we see now, as FB and Google and others monetize users as their product. A violation, the first violation, results automatically in a fine of 2% of the company's gross receipts worldwide for the preceding year, paid within ten days or the company's activity would be shut down on the spot. A second offense has a 4% fine, same terms. Thing is, it will protect the Europeans outside Europe as well, including in the US. And the corporations cannot know who's European and who's not, so it will mean a curtailment of the snooping on everyone.

Over at that other site, DailyKos, starting last fall and through the winter, I was accused, multiple times of being a KGB agent working for the Russians. When I finally decided that Hillary was
nothing more than a self absorbed snake was when I read about the signed agreement she made with the Obama administration not to mix Foundation business with her position as Sec. of State and also agreed not to hire or deal with Sid Blumenthal either. She violated both agreements in plain daylight and Obama did nothing about it (no surprise there). Then I saw her lie bold faced at a townhall meeting during the campaign where she stated she had permission from the State Dept. for her off site server and email system. That was the point where I really started digging into her past actions and record at State (while doing my best to avoid right wing info sites-- not easy).
Bottom line... she is a walking 'smiling stiletto', she'll stab you in the back every chance she gets with a smile on her face.
I remember my mother telling me during the 08 campaign that she would never vote for Hillary because she forgave Bill for his philandering. She said you can't trust a woman who has so little self dignity as to stay with a man who treated her like that. At the time, I kind of chalked that off to her own bitterness about my father's unfaithfulness. She said to me quite forcefully, "I loathe that woman!"

this was how she got around Obama's telling her to keep him out of the state department. He was involved with her duties as SOS all during her tenure. He got her information on what was happening in Libya and many other Middle Eastern countries. He would send her classified information to her email and she would forward them on to Obama, but take his name off them first.
Her foundation was a slush fund and an excuse to let Bill be in positions to get paid for his speeches wherever she was doing business.
Have you heard what her and Bill did to Haiti after the earthquake? They basically stole the billions that people donated and gave all contracts for rebuilding Haiti to their friends and family members.
Hillary's state department was also involved in Haiti's politics.

Hillary was too hawkish. But it's not fair to say she's more hawkish than trump overall. We don't know about trump yet entirely, but it's an odd assertion to make at a time that trump is talking about 'totally destroying' North Korea, raining fire on them, making threatening statements that they only understand one thing, talks are useless, and that it's 'calm before the storm'.
Your summary of Hillary's position on North Korea wasn't very fair. The strongest part - pre-emptive strikes - referred to trying to disable their nukes IF THEY WERE ABOUT TO LAUNCH THEM.
The rest referred more to things like cyber measures and missile defense for neighbors.
