He continued, "Now I hate to tell you Puerto Rico, but you’re throwing our budget a little out of whack, because we’ve spent a lot of money on Puerto Rico, and that’s fine, we’ve saved a lot of lives.”
Trump said "every death is a horror," but then went on a Hurricane Katrina tangent, saying, "If you look at a real catastrophe like Katrina," which lost many more lives, your "sixteen people certified' of dying from Maria wasn't really too bad at all.
"Sixteen people versus in the thousands."
After his term is up (2020) is the PERFECT time for a Third Party candidate. The Clinton Creature has destroyed the Dims and this moronic jackass has just about destroyed the Pubbies. There will never be a better time. Before they (Dims, Pubbies, 1%) destroy the planet.

People in Utah continue to say
that they are prepared for any catastrophe with their supplies of food and other essential items. What they don't understand is that if a hurricane as bad as Maria hit their house, any supplies that he had would have been sucked away.
The other thing that they love to say is that there are so many supplies in the background when the SAN Juan mayor is saying that she isn't getting help from the government. The supplies supposedly show that she is lying about Trump not help PR. And they have think that people aren't trying to help themselves and are doing nothing to get the supplies out.
This type of stupidity shows that they have no idea that there isn't any vehicles that can disperse them because they have been damaged, there is no gas and the roads are blocked by trees and other debris.
Trump may have been doing everything he could to help them out and the media is playing their games, or things are actually that bad there. Who knows what is the truth anymore?

Kasich and Hickenlooper are gearing up for a 3rd Party
run in 2020. And, some of the corporatists/centrists in both legacy Parties are already pushing this potential ticket--Michael Steele, for one. Kasich brought of the subject of leaving the Repubs, and going Independent this past Sunday--I think it was with either Todd or Tapper.

I hope Dem partisans wake up soon, since I think that those two could pull off a win. From where I sit, I imagine that a good portion of the Dem Base will get out their poms poms, and support centrist/corporatist John Hickenlooper, mostly because they'll buy into Dem Party talking points that a 'moderate' is their best chance.
From what I heard yesterday on XM Radio, 2018 is considered a 'test' for the progressive wing of the Dem Party.
IOW, if Bernie's prominent role as the Dem Leadership's Senate Outreach Chair doesn't 'bring home the bacon' in the mid-terms--meaning, win back the House and/or Senate for Democrats--the Party will likely go full bore back to advocating for the Clinton-wing of the Party in 2020.
I only hope that the 'true left' of the political spectrum recognizes this reality, and begins to think very seriously about recruiting and backing an alternative candidate to this corporatist pair of flim-flam artists (Kasich & Hickenlooper).

He does have to work with Congress to get disaster relief funds, and Congress is giving him shit about busting the budget. Trump did waive the matching funds requirement so PR doesn't have to foot 1/2 the bill.

because the rescuers have not reached all the outlying villages to count the survivors. Due to a 1 week delay in receiving aid, there have been obstacles to reaching everyone. But let the moron keep raving about how Katrina was a real emergency but PR is just a waste of money for the US.
