Published US war plans against China have convinced China of the same.
Two nuclear-armed countries, expecting a preemptive nuclear strike from us. What are they likely to do?
Putin has shown amazing patience with Washington’s lies and provocations, but he cannot risk Russia by trusting Washington, whom no one can trust. Not the American people, not the Russian people, not any people.

This is just very very sad, not much in tune with Easter eggs and bunnies. It isn't too early now to plant cabbages and potatoes, for the root cellar, of course. Good foods for famines, and tasty if things somehow don't go there. The whole article isn't very long, but so well thought out that it's well worth a few minutes of your time.

Putin is the only sane one of world leaders
(although we don't know as much about Xi Jinping). The two talks given in the linked video reveals that Putin is not lying, he is also not pulling his punches, and, best of all, he is not beating the war drums.
Who won WW2? The Russians. They took 90% of the casualties and 100% of the damage to their homeland. They know war, modern Washington does not--even though they play at war. Not very well, since we haven't "won" one since WW2--which as noted, was won primarily by the Russians in Europe.
With Trump's symbolic phallus, the M.O.A.B., demonstrating his virility, will he continue his explosive chest-pounding to prove what a man he is? Is it too late for Trump to vanquish the Deep State/Neocons before pushing us into an unwinable war? His various surrogates contradict themselves daily, perhaps because they are unsure of which way the political winds are blowing.
Putin, the Russian, who is "our enemy" is the only one telling the truth--straight out in plain language.

I was all set to tell you we had a root cellar under the cinder block elevated front porch of my childhood home in Detroit. It also had a coal bin. Fascinating places as a young child.
Bomb and tornado shelter is right. If I were one of those countries with a target on my back, I would be between a rock and hard place trying to decide what to do. The US cannot be trusted. Trump is a crazy @sshole. I hate that word. It is so crude and disgusting, which is why I have a hard time finding another word that fits Trump and a few others so well.
The point that Russia knows war and war on their homeland is a very good one. If I were them, I would do everything I could to not let it happen again.

They don't even need bombs
The US economy is so fragile that it would take very little to wreck it completely and crash the war machine before it can be used. Everybody knows this except the lunatics inside the Washington Bubble.
Also, due to the Deep State's utter carelessness with its cyber-keys, anyone with a good copy (and that for sure includes both Russia and China) could crash all US internal communications, too.
The consequences would be nearly as dire for us worthless peons, but at least our bones wouldn't be glowing in the dark...and maybe there would be some kind of world left for the survivors.

Is this because they are certain there will be no attack, or is it because the right people already have shelters and bunkers, and the rest of us are not in the right people group?
There are certainly more nukes pointing at us today than during the cold war, and nuttier and more belligerent world leaders making threats.

Yes, the Russians are doing civilian drills,
but I don't know if we even have any public shelters any more. We definitely aren't having emergency drills.

I just find it peculiar as hell that there is nothing in the way of civil defense in place. It isn't as though the government doesn't want to scare us. We have been terrified of Muslims since 9/11.
