Getting to know you...open
Lovers
lay your hand on top of mime,
for a while
feel
come what may and May does spring
easing winter’s dull
unless you go downhill
lay your hand on mine …
Time does very well.
When, in disgrace with fortune and men’s eyes,
I all alone beweep my outcast state,
And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries,
And look upon myself and curse my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featured like him, like him with friends possessed,
Desiring this man’s art and that man’s scope,
With what I most enjoy contented least;
Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee, and then my state,
(Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth) sings hymns at heaven’s gate;
For thy sweet love remembered such wealth brings
That then I scorn to change my state with kings.
~ William Shakespeare
The Third Way
dusting off
collective crimes
claiming the mine,
minds
causally raping pleasures of time
not knowing the canvas
that burned out stars
are dust...
The rust
corrupting us
cloning wars
arming children
preaching hate
radio faints
neo-asshats
spilling oil
spending dividends
undeserved
too dumb to fuck
loading magazines
of intent
caring less
with no regret
to children
even the Highwayman knows
Peace
needs no paint
if everyday saints
dust no more
Trump is here.
Visas
Come to me
broken hearts
slaves of war, ignorance and torture
be with me as before
wishing no more war.
As always, my fav...good late evening...

The accordion music and accompanying video imagery is beautiful.

I realize that I go for days with no human contact
except by telephone. And this state may continue forever. Looks lonely out there. Crystalline state. Plant trees. Start seeds.
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
