UN Security Council Syrian Ceasefire Meeting Today.

I just sat through the entire live feed of the UN Security Council Ceasefire vote and read almost every news article in two languages (Spanish and English) available. Our President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Evo Morales, congratulated President Putin for his efforts:

"El presidente de Bolivia felicita a Putin por 'sus grandes esfuerzos' en Siria y Oriente Próximo."
See: http://www.cuatro.com/…/Bolivia-Putin-Siria-Oriente-Proximo…

To be very clear, the following is my opinion as a MASISTA, not that of President Morales:

The United States and some other neo-colonial corporate police states (UK, France) complained that the ceasefire is being broken in Wadi Barada by the Syrian Army where ISIS/Al Nusra/Al Zinki lunatics have poisoned the water supply of millions of Syrians in Damascus. If a group of ISIS pigs poisoned the water system for New York, would you expect the National Guard to sit around picking their noses??? Give me a break, the US government can't even act peacefully when faced with unarmed, peaceful, non-violent protests by indigenous water PROTECTORS in North Dakota.

ISIS Terrorists Cut Damascus Water Supply

From my point of view the Turks have been every bit as guilty of supporting headchopping jihadi so-called "moderate rebels" as the USA and NATO. The Turks are also implicated in the ratline for exportation of oil illegally stolen from the Syrian people by ISIS and exported to Israel. The Turks have been supplying ISIS and other liver-eating, child-raping vermin with modern weaponry, opening the border for free passage of ISIS/Al Nusra jihadi mercenaries and other atrocities.

The Turks appear to me to have invaded, uninvited, Syrian territory in the north and are killing Syrian citizens in northern Syria (503 "Kurds" by their own bragging, half as many as ISIS headchoppers they have killed). There are unconfirmed reports that as soon as the ceasefire ended the Turks turned their attacks around from ISIS in AL Bab to the the Syrian Defense Force (SDF) made up of Kurds, local Arabs and other ethnicities who have been making vulture bait out of ISIS for the past year. This allowed ISIS to make a strong counterattack near Raqqah.

Turkey, Islamist groups attack Kurdish forces despite truce in Syria

Erdogan is a fascist madman who dreams of a new Ottoman Empire and thinks nothing of invading surrounding countries and oppressing minorities. He freely talks of northern Syria as becoming a Turkish "sphere of influence". As if Erdogan or Turkey has any right whatsoever to stick their bloody nose into Syria's sovereignty. In our own revolution what would Bolivians have gained if say, Argentina, decided Tarija and Santa Cruz were their sphere of influence and invaded Bolivia to support the "Media Luna" lunatics?

I have also seen that 1) SDF and Syrian Arab Army (SAA) have made common cause west of Al Bab and Aleppo, 2) Have agreed to remain within the Syrian State and NEGOTIATE some sort of federation and not attack SAA. In spite of this, the Kurds have not been invited to peace talks.

In conclusion, I will hope that the legitimate government of Syria, led by the elected Dr. Assad, will not allow Turkey to wage war on Syrian citizens of any ethnicity or religion in the north and will continue to negotiate with those ethnicities and work together to rid Syria of the last ISIS vermin and their jihadi counterparts.

Late News: The terrorist headchoppers, so-called "moderate rebels" have now cut Aleppo's water supply.

this one. One thing for sure, the powers that be have to keep this ISIS thing going. And Syria/Assad are linked to Iran and Russia, both facing an uptick in hostility.
Still the lies continue from our government and media. This isn't the beginning of peace on earth, that's for sure.

is that the main Syrian forces opposing Daesh, Al Nusra and the rest of the jihadi gangs are the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the SDF (Syrian Defense Forces, Kurds and allies), both of who have agreed to fight together in some areas, and at least refrain from attacking one another.

The USA (recently only) is lending air support and reportedly weapons exclusively to the SDF and have some 500 advisors with them.

The Russians and Iranians with boots on the ground were invited by the legitimate Syrian government (SAA).

The Turks have supported Daesh and the rest of the headchoppers. They are using the so-called Free Syrian Army against Daesh to try and keep their ratline open. The USA refused to aid the Turks this week.

At the same time we have this really ugly anti-Russia, anti-Iran, anti-Assad shit being shoved at people in the USA non-stop. The USA is crazy if they think the northern Syrians (Kurds et al) will be a proxy army against Assad. Not going to happen. Not going to be a partition or atomization. Not going to be an independent Kurdistan. And not going to be a Russian/Assad/Iranian war against the SDF or vis versa either. There will be a negotiated peace between "Syrian government and Rojava" for a unified Syria without Daesh and the other vermin who have been infecting the ME.

Ask me and I would say the biggest threat to peace in Syria is Turkey.

After spending months reading tomes, articles, watching videos, listening to talks, news, sermons and chatting, tweeting etc. in order to try and understand what is going on in the Middle East I would like to say the following:

It is dangerous for anyone to say anything supporting or not-supporting any of the many sides of the conflict. Westerners will never get a real grasp of what is going on there unless they spend a lot of time on the ground, and even then will tend to not understand the opposing side. In addition, the casual westerner will be even more confused. The moral of the story is that foreign powers should pack up their weapons and get away from the Middle East as quickly as possible. Western powers throw kerosene on an explosive mix that they don't understand. After all of the research I have done, I remain as ignorant as at the beginning. . . although I can name some names, follow some battles, know superficially about the different ideologies involved, it doesn't make me knowledgeable.

My own purpose was to understand enough to try and see if anything could be done to help the children in the region, free them from the cross-fire. On some specific areas I do have strong opinions: Free Palestine is one and the solution being one secular, federated state with reparations, right of return, return of stolen land and truth and conciliation. Much more complex than that and its up to the Palestinians to decide what they want to negotiate for.

Jihadis and other terror groups should head back to Saudi Arabia where they originated and welcome. Neither foreign mercenaries nor nationalist governments have a right to push their beliefs on their neighbors, other religions or ethnicities. Governments to have a right to protect their citizens within their own space.

As with many of my photos and satire posts the Free Cat and the Batman's Ears images are shared in a spirit of snarky ambiguity.
