You cannot go by what they said, as Trump proved by ignoring his campaign promise to end regime change wars. Would either or both of them be bombing Iran for any reason? Or for Trump's purported reasons?
This poses the question of Who is in charge?

Either of those characters would do what they were told.
I doubt the bombs would have flown if the military or financial
cartel were pulling the strings. If it is the deep state or CIA, it is
anybodies guess.
