I don't know much about how the Chinese celebrate Christmas... but I do know that the US just gave China a wonderful little Christmas gift... an underwater drone, courtesy of the belly-acher-in-waiting Donald Trump.

You see China woke up Friday morning (not exactly Christmas, but like I said, I know little of Chinese Christmas so this might be true), excited, rosy-cheeked, full of anticipation, as they ran around their country wondering what Saint-Nick had brought them. Just off their shores, in the South China Sea, they found what they were looking for, a shiny new technological gift (Amazon delivers fast!), this had to be from Santa Claus! Sure it was unwrapped, and we were technically looking in the "parents" closet, but no matter, the surprise is ruined, we know what we are getting, you might as well let us play with it now!

Boy, Dad was pissed. At first he got mad and yelled at us, told us we ruined Christmas and that Mom will be really disappointed. He said we are usually so well-behaved and that this behavior from us was unpresidented... we usually are good kids, but Dad has really been a raging asshole lately so we thought we really deserved this gift ahead of time... wrong, wrong, WRONG! (Actual Dad words)

Just when we thought we were about to be grounded for life, Dad started to calm-down and even smile... ( he does that a lot, his moods are really scary....) He said it was almost Christmas, that it was OK, and he was happy to see us all so enthralled by Santa's gift, he just couldn't stay mad... He told us we could play with it now, but to not tell Mom, that maybe we'd have to wrap it, and pretend all this never happened... phew, that was close!

Merry Christmas from China, and we don't celebrate the New Year...
