Grateful Dead
The Dead would play Wang Dang Doodle on high days and holidays. A lot of what they did revolved around foreshadowing and harbingers, and hearing this tune was a sign that you were right to have dropped tonight.

Hi bondibox. Thanks for dropping in, Back in the day, for
at least some of us, every day was high day.

I chose the Doktah Jawn version, for the skull
on the penano.
Have a great wang dang ALL NIGHT LAWGN!
A truth of the nuclear age/climate change: we can no longer have endless war and survive on this planet. Oh sh*t.
Hey, DO, thanks for dropping in and have a gret one yourself.

The Boxtops!?!?!
Thanks for that! I had no idea they did it, and it is a very good version. I was tryin' to imagine how they could bubblegum Wang Dang Doodle. LOL They were a good band. In L.A. in the 70's the Savoy Brown version got some good FM airplay, late p.m., early a.m. in the dark. The London Howlin Wolf Sessions version is great too, that whole album is world class great. What incredibly great voices Koko Taylor, and the Pointer Sisters had. Methinks it is time to put the headphones (the bad guitar player's secret to a long marriage) on and plug in.
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.
Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.

The London Sessions is my featured ablum tomorrow
afternoon/evening. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a clean version, so it has ads, but they're livable, and I may yet find a clean version. Nize bird, btw.
