Clinton's thank-you party for big bigly donors.... (yup, not fake)
In the realm of you can't make this shit up, I present to you exhibit A of the Democratic Party's imminent death. Idiots and charlatans, the whole lot.
Hillary Clinton shouldn't go on a "thank-you" tour, but a "I'm sorry" tour... she owes the whole fucking country an apology for Heir Pumpkinfuehrer.
We need a new Party so we can finally shed all this corruption and nonsense from the leftist movement... the Democratic Party is a graveyard for the Progressive cause, and the quicker we realize that, the quicker we can move-on and build something new.
Read it and weep...

So mad I have to say it again...
what a bunch of fucking idiots...
Progressive to the bone.
They are just trying to hold on to power.
They are so very desperately trying to hold on to power.
They see the wave of populism, the growing activism, the slow but sure melding of disenfranchised groups (including the white working class). And I think they are not idiots, but understand very well the balance of power at this point.
They- much like the DAPL- are so very near the achievement of their goal, that it becomes a question of backing off and risking the momentum of the proletariat, or just doubling down and counting on the FORCE of their advantage to silence the dissenters. It seems to me, from every angle I look from, they are doubling down-- they are now counting on being so far ahead that MORE FORCE and MORE PROPAGANDA are all that's needed to neuter us and crush us forever.
And perhaps TPTB switched their vote at the last minute because, for as much as Hillary was one of them, her milquetoast presidency might have allowed too large of a crack, through which the massive dissent would burst.
With the Donald- who won accolades for being an unapologetic DICK- the chances were (are) greater that the general electorate will shirk and shy away from MORE FORCE-- instead of fighting it.
In short, he was right... he was the "strong(er) man--" and I think TPTB are now ready to let their fascist flag fly.
if you want to enrage the DLC
suggest there is traction in populist politics.
Hillary Clinton
makes the the tone deaf seem like members of a music appreciation society.
The woman is completely without merit and clueless.
Gëzuar!!
from a reasonably stable genius.
It is truly stunning...
the arrogance, the hubris...
Progressive to the bone.
And yet,
The media poo poos Trump for having "thank you" rallies. The attendees at those rallies helped get him elected, and he'll continue to need their support.
Whereas the Clinton donors weren't enough to get her elected. And the media sees nothing wrong with her party. Probably because they'd love to be invited.
I have to give
my biggest OUCH to that remark.
You just laid a big bruise on the faces of so many.
Well done!
Regardless of the path in life I chose, I realize it's always forward, never straight.
He will continue to cultivate their support,
unlike "who else you going to go to" Hillary, who couldn't be bothered in the first place. Any half-way decent Dem could have beat Rump. Now Hill gets to seek solace in her ill-earned fortune while the rest of us suffer. It was a crime to have cheated to win the primary, and to have lost to Trump on top of that is unforgivable.
that is so good!
and applies to quite a few.

Progressive to the bone.
I would say accurate.
Her campaign ends as it began
By invitation only, out of sight of the public, in a fancy hotel surrounded by the very rich and powerful.
She broke through neither the glass ceiling nor the bubble she'd been living in, and she never seemed to feel like it was worth it to break one if she had to break the other, too. So in the bubble she'll stay.

movie buff, I like your picture, your avatar
that's one of my favorite movies, the one that made me want to be like Belmondo, which is funny because Belmondo's character wanted to be like Bogie!
Thanks!
I believe that's a publicity photo from around the time of that shoot. Looks like Paris.
I think I long ago realized I would never be like Belmondo, or like Seberg...

it's a bad movie to see if you're trying to quit smoking
in fact, I'm afraid if I see it again I'll take up the habit
Good thanks for the links, saw this earlier today
but google news search only yielded sources I was unfamiliar with and Fox.
A truth of the nuclear age/climate change: we can no longer have endless war and survive on this planet. Oh sh*t.
Dear Hillary,
Fuck you. Go away and never come back. And take your billionaires with you.

Good times.
They really had a laugh on us.
Hey, I wonder if Donald Trump will be there?
IMAGINE if you woke up the day after a US Presidential Election and headlines around the the world blared, "The Majority of Americans Refused to Vote in US Presidential Election! What Does this Mean?"
this IS the right thing to do!!! to hell with her cla$$
of lying sell outs pretending they're on the side of us know nobodies!!! It has always been about them & their snout in the trough -
While the HilBot$ will continue pretzeling themselves to explain her banditry, this kind of crap helps normal people realize that, while Hiel Herr Trump is a mess, more DLC NeoLib trash ain't the answer either.
rmm.
But then I sigh; and, with a piece of scripture,
Tell them that God bids us do good for evil:
And thus I clothe my naked villany
With old odd ends stolen out of holy writ;
I knew she cared about us!
Hillary has spent her entire career working tirelessly for the have-nots and this proves it because...umm...
Did you know (I've heard this!) that Hillary couldn't get her message out because the press wouldn't cover her detailed plans for the country? When it's mentioned that she could have held a press conference sometime in the final 10 months but didn't we get crickets and confused looks or scowls, while we get accused of being Russian pawns.
Hey, we were White, male,
Hey, we were White, male, basement-dwelling Russian pawns, weren't we? I get so confoozed...

They don't, but apparently
They don't, but apparently neither do we, since I had no idea until they told me that I was male or living in the basement (we do have a male college student in ours, actually, just to add to the confusion) so I expect that they feel that this makes us even.
But personally, I've always been a night owl, and I've been known to drink Colombian coffee, so I probably am a (hot, sugared and rather creamy) suspect, especially in the mornings, whenever they occur for me, that preferably being in the afternoon... not that I look like that, of course, although my coffee does.

I didn't get an invitation (sniff)
So does that mean all those others that didn't get an invitation will come over to our "party".

Naw, they'll be having champagne on an overhead balcony. Beware of the trickle-down, after a few glasses!
Edited because I must have got tipsy thinking about that champers and hit a wrong letter.

A WaPo poster said the hotel is not-unionized. Others are.
Maybe this was a fund raiser for Chelsea. Maybe it was career opportunity day with Hillary passing out her and Bill's resume for some corporate positions. Man, if Vlad could just get some hidden cameras in there. I wonder if Clooney will be there? I know, they are raising money for the Water Protectors.
Don't feel bad PriceRip
A lot of people are upset that they didn't get an invitation too.
I wonder who the people are that are complaining that they didn't get an invite?
And don't they know about how the Clintons work by now? I don't know why they're surprised by anything those two do because they only use people for how their help is going to help her and Bill.
I'm betting that Blankenfein and his buddies will be included.
The article gets in one last dig.
Hillary blames Comey's letter to congress for her loss.
She just can't imagine that people were voting for The Giant Meteor to hit the planet over her winning the election and seeing the two of them back in the WH!

It's an old corporate tradition.
Piss in everyone else's well, shit in their punch-bowls and sell the public the rest of their public water supplies at scarcity prices. Works for them, at least until it doesn't anymore, when their well runs dry and they're left dry-mouthed, repetitively murmuring 'duh?' rather stickily.

You're either on the bus, or you're off the bus.
And HRC is definitely off the bus.
If you have some time, this rap, from someone definitely on the bus, delivered at Mr. Jefferson's University, deep in the Land of the Wahoos, includes some choice analysis on the Clintons circa 1999.

They're banking on the idea that Trump will be so bad that the masses will come running back to Wall St's "sane" party.
Yes, yes they are.
'See what you get when you don't do as you're told?' will be the 'new' Democratic party slogan.
They are headed to a slaughter of epic proportions in the mid-terms.
Which will of course be the fault of 'those damn kids'.
Yeah, I'm
one of 'those damn kids' in my fifties. People say I'm arrogant(no, really!), but I ain't got nothing on those people.
An epic fail, Again, in 2018 is Exactly what the corruptocRats need! Shumer, we don't need a new direction Pelosi, and all the others need to ride that ship to the bottom. I've heard the Titanic was doing better than 35mph when it hit the ocean floor, let's hope the idiots go Much faster on impact!

Well, Bernie doesn't think that billionaires ought to be controlling policy, so perhaps Bloomberg feels discriminated against?
And I'll bet he dislikes Bernie's policies...
