What result would you expect from the nexus of big money and the mainstream media in our electoral process? Big money invests in protecting big money and the media invests in making big money for the media. Big money seems to be the common denominator on this grease slickened mobius strip of an election process, wouldn't you say?

Would this current circus of an election not be the natural evolutionary point of that amalgamation of greed, deceit and avarice?

Need help with some sloganeering

Well, I just cannot make up my mind. Pondering someone's Bernie sticker that included a swipe at the dreadful Citizens United Supreme Court decision, I had what I think is a great idea for a bumper sticker:

Democrats say: Protect people from corporations.
Republicans say: Corporations ARE people.

Is this a way to kill Citizens United?

James Marc Leas is a patent attorney and a past co-chair of the National Lawyers Guild Palestine Subcommittee. On January 25, 2017, he posted The Supreme Court Supplied a Blueprint to Overcome "Citizens United" -- We Just Need to Use It. Perhaps not the best title, because we really don't expect anything decent to come out of SCOTUS.
