edit... the link is to a diary hosted at dkos - it does not link to the owner himself (as far as I know). I'm sorry that I didn't leave that part in the final result. (I had started with a title that included that fact, but it was a clumsy title.) Still, the diary itself is at least worth a look - at least in my opinion...

Lots of links. And lots of ideas about the future (a little scary too). Not much to say, at least from me.

Except this hopeful thought: Tacky beats Elegant - eventually. And maybe Tacky will save the world - eventually. It can't help itself. It's sort of like passing gas after eating way too much.

Sadly, some of the most elegant solutions involve war or worse. One or two bombs can be elegant weapons, three peaceful passenger jets can be turned into elegant weapons, a few blankets used to comfort smallpox victims can be turned into elegant weapons.

Unlikely? Not really. Elegance has multiple faces and Tacky has multiple faces.

As far as linking to dkos (yes like Harry Potter, I can use a name), I consider it as sort of like Draco's mother. or Ron's older brother, Percy. It takes a lot of energy to keep a grudge burning bright. And I need my energy for other things. But that's just me.
