Sanders Camp says someone must be held 'accountable' for what DNC emails show

"Someone does have to be held accountable," Weaver said during an interview with ABC News. "We spent 48 hours of public attention worrying about who in the [Donald] Trump campaign was going to be held responsible for the fact that some lines of Mrs. Obama's speech were taken by Mrs. Trump. Someone in the DNC needs to be held at least as accountable as the Trump campaign."

Weaver said the emails showed misconduct at the highest level of the staff within the party and that he believed there would be more emails leaked, which would "reinforce" that the party had "its fingers on the scale."

"Everybody is disappointed that much of what we felt was happening at the DNC was in fact happening, that you had in this case a clear example of the DNC taking sides and looking to place negative information into the political process.

The disgust I hold for the DNC and Hillary Clinton holds no bounds. As soon as I vote in the FL primary I will do a #DEMEXIT after a loyal lifetime of voting Dem. #JillStein2016

57 years did I ever think I'd see the Democratic Party of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy turn into the monster it is today.

They must be spinning in their graves, the both of them. And damned if Edward R. Murrow isn't somewhere losing his shit by now...

the (D) next to their name is inconsequential now. they no longer represent the New Deal Democrats of last century. i don't know what party Trump represents if Democrats are the new Republicans.

I know what I used to be 100% sure the Democratic Party of FDR and JFK was (meaning, I what I assumed it was.)

The more I study it, though, the less I am sure what the Democratic Party of FDR and JFK actually was. I do think RFK and Eleanor Roosevelt may have been more sincere about racial and economic justice and peace than either FDR or JFK, but I haven't looked into that as much and the nation never had a chance to see either RFK or Eleanor as President and head of the Democratic Party.

This is heresy, I know.

I honestly don't see how he can stay silent about the rigged primary and election fraud at this point. I hope that he vocally retracts his endorsement on the convention stage, condemns the DNC, and announces that he's going to run Green with Jill. That would flip this race on its head and support for Hillary would collapse.

Will he do it? I guess we'll find out either tomorrow morning or on Monday, but I really hope that he wakes up and realizes that this situation is unacceptable.

including the email revelations, Comey's assessment that she's reckless and careless, the pay-for-play that's inadequately investigated so far, now the email leaks proving the primary was rigged. Show the declining polls and how all this played right into Trump's "Crooked Hillary" meme. Then ask the supers to flip and vote for him instead of her, in order to save the Dem party from a devastating loss to Trump.

It makes me sick that lots of people here treat Bernie's quitting with kid gloves, yet our disenfranchisement by the Clintons and DNC as the lesser of two evils. Bernie is doing kabuki moves, or playing poker not chess, and any day now he will start the revolution. And he NEVER lies, but he needs to be freed from oppression by the DNC, and was and is being treated horribly. But what about us, the very people, indeed the ONLY people who supported Bernie through thick and thin? Does Bernie, in his zeal to be a good soldier and support the Evil One, think that's a viable way to grow his "revolution", or does he expect us to start it ourselves by voting against Trump, whatever that means? And tell us this, Bernie: If voting is rigged and machines are hacked, but you don't speak out about it, how will we start a revolution if our votes don't count?

Bernie said that he'd take it to the convention - and would continue addressing the country, supposedly campaigning for Hillary, but at any rate against Trump. There is always the hope that he has a stable of unicorns up his sleeve, but in any event, the Greens have already seen a benefit. And if enough people vote for the Green Party and the readily-anticipated-to-be-rampant electoral cheating is somehow countered, President Jill Stein is a darned good possibility. Especially compared to either evil.
