I am so sick of this shit. A demeaning title for an article of course. I'm sick of all these 'progressive' blogs anyway. Raw Story, Crooks&Liars, all of them. I had to tell the that Karoli Kuhns at C&L to cool her jets a couple months ago. She started back the with the 'we need to pivot to support the presumptive nominee' shit way back then. Now they're all falling all over themselves to support their corporate owned sweetie.

There's video, just couldn't get it to post.

critically important that you gave voice to the desperation in the land. Most of us are grateful.

Now we need to continue the struggle for equality - equality before the law; equality in treatment from the levels of government; equality is wealth, healthcare, schooling; equality in receiving clean water and air...

We need to dismantle the war machine and use that money for the needs of the people and we need to dismantle the so-called intelligence apparatus. The USA is rich but has been wasteful - there's a movement stirring and we're waiting for leadership to emerge.

Worked almost well enough to overcome the fix. But not well enough. Now let's work on something else that will work better. With no icky aftertaste.

Bernie Sanders 2016. Now with no ties to a thoroughly corrupt party.

from which that clip at Raw Story came from is extremely important to watch. An interview that addresses the real issues! He also has some things to say about the media.

Edited to add: As I watch the entire interview: Watch his eyes, especially when talking about HRC. He is not being completely honest; he is hedging. During the entire interview, he is very subdued. For an interview, one expects less enthusiasm than for a speech, but there is a different sense in this one.

The comment about not being the nominee would seem to suggest that he understands that the Party won't allow it. So maybe the reason he seems let's say "disappointed" is that he has had the realization that the Party is even more corrupt than he had believed, and he is still trying to absorb that fact.

It does not have an embed capability, so just the link.

The fact that the Raw Story article uses the word "concede" in its first sentence tells us that they are trying to direct the conversation to suggest that Sanders has conceded the nomination when he has not.

The video is very important to see, I think, so please watch the full version (link included in my comment). I would like other people's reactions to his demeanor.

biding his time until Philadelphia.

I'd be curious to know what the broadcast delay on the televised portions will be during this farce of a "convention". I'd bet good money on it being as long as possible.

in order to get a spot at the big table, but it is not guaranteed. As he said in the video, he does not know if he will be a speaker at the convention. While, I realize there is a fear of what he will say, HRC and troops may not understand what will happen if he is not allowed to speak. I think there are too many people who understand that not for election fraud and voter disenfranchisement that Sanders would be ahead in pledged delegates.

In a video I watched yesterday, Ted Kennedy did not endorse Carter. Hopefully, Sanders will follow that path.

I am sure he'd try to get a spot. It's the right thing to do for the movement. But even if it was for no other reason than to watch them squirm and try to deny him, I am sure he would be playing it exactly how he is doing so.

No way does he endorse her. #NotGonnaHappen

Because, yeah,

there are too many people who understand that not for election fraud and voter disenfranchisement that Sanders would be ahead in pledged delegates.

And if team HRC doesn't get that by now, they're hopelessly inept, on top of all else.

she and her team will prove that they are "hopelessly inept." A Fox commentator said the other day that if the email system was not set up to hide from FOIA requests then the only other reason would be that she is inept. John Oliver pointed out that trying to fight Trump through social media showed how inept her campaign is. That word just seems to keep popping up. = )

I have no doubt that he knows exactly what he is doing. It just sometimes gets under my skin that others cannot see it as I am only moderately brilliant unlike some others here who have attained a higher level of brilliance. = )

some of the stuff she has said and done just blows me away still. Even some moderate Republican friends laughed bitterly with me at the sheer stupidity of saying Henry Fucking Kissinger is a friend and mentor to Democrats and then expecting them to vote for you? And the Woman Card, "special place in Hell," turning Bill loose on Bernie supporters, and really, thinking she can lie away to the young on just what she's done in the world in her long experience, who use the Internet for everything, and get away with it? I guess that's where some of my true cynicism has just naturally come out. How can a woman that smart be this dumb unless she's got the game rigged? I mean, for real?

I watched that whole thing and yes, Bernie is a cagey one. My only disappointment was not tying ISIS and that hatred of America in deeper with history - he's mentioned Iran and Mossedegh (sp?) before, why not then? But he is playing it close to the vest I think. He still seems to have such faith in the people waking the hell up and pressuring the system to work from within, I'm not sure I share that, but I would sure like to see it happen. The odds against the "people" as stacked as they so visibly are now, hard to be hopeful right now.

Inept Hillary rather than Crooked/ Most people know and understand or accept that she is crooked, but they might stop and think about inept. How is her saying that Bill will run the economic portion of her inept presidency not a clue?

Yes, it has been hard to believe that people aren't still picking themselves up off the floor after quite a number of things she has said. I had kind of wanted him to say that bombing people out of existence is probably a good way to get them to hate you, but understand why he could not.

He has a lot more faith in people than I do.

are fake as fuck. We pegged Raw Story early on when they started banning commenters who pushed back on Hillary worshiping. And that was back before Iowa.

They always give themselves away at some point. There is always a "tell".

The progressive masks came off this primary and it was very revealing. Glad I won't be wasting my time on such sites as Raw Story and several others. Most of them were just headline grabbers, anyway. When you look at the big picture, these blogs have very little influence and basically toot their own horn. It will be interesting to see what happens to their readership in the future. They have also compromised their integrity.
