American Democracy on Life Support - With Poor Prognosis

Life-support-1.jpg

There have been a number of posts here mentioning the ample circumstantial and anecdotal evidence of election fraud in this Democratic primary.

Well, here’s a technical analysis that through straight-forward, but nevertheless fairly technical analysis, shows with near certainly that there has been systematic election fraud.

This is analysis by statisticians that know their stuff, and come to a disturbing – but for those here not at all surprising -– conclusion. Well to be precise, relative to where we were a year ago, I am actually surprised, as I didn’t expect the DNC to defraud their own primary. Apparently the DNC has decided to do the RNC one better in defrauding the general elections in 2000 and 2004, and fix their own primary this year. Well, well, as the Brits say 'when needs must.'

So, what can be done, with collusion between the two political parties and the media machine to subvert democracy and steal the election for the corporatocracy/kleptocracy/oligarchy? At a minimum, it takes the continued candidacy of Bernie Sanders, as it is his candidacy that has forced the hand of this felonious activity, and his staying in the race first as a Democratic party candidate and thence as an Independent, will continue to force the hand of the system. Further, it will take our continued support of Senator Sanders, as he makes the difficult decision to go independent when the DNC presents the coronation of the Corporate Candidate in July, either Sec. Clinton, or someone else post-indictment.

It will additionally take our strong support of the good Senator in the general election. It will further take stamina to ignore the narrative of “Clinton or Death-by-Trump” that has been carefully Madison-Avenue-Crafted.

But this is likely our last stand, our last chance to save our democracy, before it sinks forever into the quicksands of corporatocracy and oligarchy.

Action required of y’all? Keep the course - steady as she goes. The real battle still lies ahead. Be ready.

Thank you for this essay. You hit all the things I've been thinking about keeping the course. We must not falter.

Indeed, we must not falter, the nation depends upon us to - in Sen. Sanders words - to 'stand up.'

agitates with Jealousies and false alarms, and opens the door to corruption,
which finds access to the government itself through the channels of party passions.

When we catch it, we blow the whistle and refuse to play the game.

My wife was at the polls for 14 hours yesterday - nearly killed her. All was squeaky clean there in her fire station. The real crimes are happening after the ballots are delivered. It will take first a movement toward a popular election of a popular candidate - and then a rising up in protest when the popular vote is subverted. This won't be pretty, but it will be necessary.

I really don't think Bernie will run as an Independent, unfortunately. I am trying so hard not to feel defeated and heartbroken but in all honesty I am downright depressed. No matter what, though, Bernie gets my vote in November. I'll write him in if he chooses to not run Indie or green. I cannot, in good conscience, vote for Hillary or Trump. That will not change. Bernie is the only candidate who truly has OUR interests at heart and who, with amazing and great courage, continues to stand up to the powers that hold us down. My admiration, gratitude and respect for Bernie and our movement is unshakable.

We're just beginning. Now we know lots more than we did before the primaries.
We know state parties make the primary rules and can change the primary rules.
We know how some of those policies affected state turnouts. (Should we have members here research each states rules and suggest changes?) We know in NY Indies needed to change parties in October! That's gotta go.
We know Maricopa Cty, AZ needed more than 60 polling places. We can keep an eye on that.
We know that at least 45% of the Dem Party wants a change.

I think this is monumental, and yeah, I'm bummed about Bernie, but I also love him dearly for giving us hope and lighting a damn fire. Don't let it blow out.

Well, it looks like we've all just been given one big F-U from the Dem Party to the American people. One could say we've been flipped the 'bird' ... as Sanders begins stumping for the scum of the earth. It was only Bernie Sander who could get my attention and give me a reason to 'believe' ... and he did an excellent job. Can't help feeling like an utter fool. Sure, I'll hear all the Bernieanna's saying.. 'keep the faith' .. 'don't give up' and all the other BS that constitutes democracy and what this world considers justice. I guess we got our just deserves. Bye, Bye Birdy ...Hello Hillary Queen of Scum...

Don't worry.. if I bother to get around to voting.. I'll vote Green

paper trail or not no one will prosecute them no matter what they do. Nevada was the test case; the theft was in plain sight, hell, it was broadcast on Youtube! And they got away with it. (at least they think so) 2000, 2004, 2016. Every time it gets more audacious. In 2020 the President will be reelected by a greater margin than Reagan, and the 2024 election will be unanimous.
