Friday Night Photos Reservoir Edition
Happy Friday everyone. Welcome to Friday Night Photos your once a week escape from the day to day insanity of the world we live in. Post any photos, memes, music or whatever else you find of interest that helps tune out the madness.
Earlier this month the camera club went to Miramar Reservoir located in the north-east area of the city. There's a 5 mile paved road and a dirt trail closer to the shoreline that runs around the reservoir. All but the first 2 photos were taken while I was walking on the dirt trail. It was a beautiful morning with blue skies and temps in the high 70s when we arrived and low 80s when we left a few hours later.
Oh for those days of cooler temps. It's been a week of three digit temps with a high of 105 Wed. The power grid got over stress that evening and the power went out for about an hour from 8:45 to 9:45 PM. It's bad enough I don't have A/C, now I didn't even have fans. Thankfully the temps had dropped to a mere 90° by the time the power went out and it was restored in a little less than an hour and I got my fans back and got some air circulating and was able to cool off.

Hi Social
It’s so wonderful to see the clarity of texture and colour in all the variety of your images. It’s always a treat.
Here are some images of volcanic sandstone and the life that lives on it.
And some interesting facts about Barnacles.

Check out the short Barnacles video. I think you'll get a kick out of it ; ).
Hola Sp and jb from hot, soggy ECFL.
Thank you both for the great visuals.
Sp, I love the Tiger Swallowtail. It's amazing how adaptable life is regarding jb's sandstone and Barnacles. We've lucked out (if you can call it luck) here weather wise. No storms on the horizon, and my part of FL has stayed wet enough that it's avoided drought. And the dreaded wildfires. The international idiots of oligarchs better get their climate change crisis act together. ASAP! You all stay safe, cool, and dry. Rec'd!!
