Over the course of our lives, we all must have received gifts that overwhelmed us with their thoughtfulness, suitability, and timeliness. One I received a couple years ago from Mr. wd qualified in the first two ways, but as to the third, please consider the implications of its irony as you read about what may end up being my favorite present ever.
Many people think gardening season is winding down, and it is true the summer crops are playing out. However, fall is a great gardening season in my corner of the world. It is the best time for some of the healthiest garden produce...leafy greens. Those of you in more northern locations can still put in young plants. Most garden centers offer plants or sets. So, it is still hot and dry here and it makes it difficult to think about cool fall season crops, but it is time...past time. After we get the fall garden going today we'll take a glance around the world to see what's happening...

Well, folks, Tulsi needs 2 more polls at 2% or more from "qualified" polls to be included in the September debates by August 28.
There will only be one more qualifying poll (a Monmouth national poll) before the August 28 deadline that will appear on Monday. Ergo, Tulsi will not be included in the September debates, even if she hits 2% or more in the Monmouth poll. Historically, Tulsi has done worst in Monmouth polls.

Question - Should Trump's latest tweet "ordering" American companies to leave China be the end of the line? He's certainly said and done many things that should have ended his insane clown act in the White House, but this one combined with all the ones before it, should be the final straw. Shouldn't it?
