I haven’t yet seen the little birds, but I can hear a few. They are probably busy rebuilding their nests. I hope most survived the storm.

I am fine here in my place. The landslip remained stable during the rain and I was largely sheltered from the worst of the wild winds. Power and cellphone reception came back after two days a couple hours ago. I now feel settled after being able to communicate with family and friends from a stable home.

It's become obvious to me in the last few days that the alien invasion is upon us.

How can I be so sure? I used my secret decoder ring to translate the signals my teeth were picking up. Yes indeed they are here.

The thing is it seems that these are primitive aliens that haven't crossed the technological flight barrier beyond the use of balloons.

So how did they get here? Any ideas.
