I messed up and published this as a blog entry earlier today, then realized it was un-promoted, but here is a what the Dem caucus here was like. - an amazing experience in this deeply red state.

Just a quick note, sorry this is not long and detailed diary. I will be leaving work early this Friday (3/25) to attend a Bernie Sanders' rally in downtown Seattle.

The reason I am excited about this event, besides seeing him in person, is because he will be holding the rally at Safeco field (home to the Seattle Mariners a major league professional baseball team). Please note this is a professional league baseball field and it has a capacity to hold 54,097 people.

By the mid-1950's the Civil Rights Movement was gaining momentum and the KKK decided they had to fight back. Their campaign of terrorism swept through many of the southern states, but largely fell flat in North Carolina.

If you are democrat, independent or heck republican, please note the New York democratic is a closed primary. Therefore, if you want to vote in this primary you need to register by Friday, March 25.

I know the primary is scheduled for Tuesday, April 19, but if you want to vote please make sure you are registered.

My understanding during the past few closed or semi-closed primaries some people were not registered; therefore, they were unable to vote.
