In the 1980's Bernie taught at Harvard's Kennedy Institute of Politics and wrote a news column in 1989 for the Harvard Crimson, the college's paper.

THE news from the Soviet Union is breathtaking. Events which no one would have predicted 10 years ago are now occuring at lightning speed.
In a world of political blogs, most demand conformity to the prevailing point of view of the site. To me that means being banned is the equivalent of being sent to an island, somewhere free thinking is still allowed. I've been banned from Freerepublic, DU and soon from DailyKos where Hillary is NOT under FBI investigation, Bernie is a mean old white man and you can't even say trump when you're playing cards.
As several of you know, I am a Hoosier by birth and during the last 47.5 years, it was my home until I recently moved to the great state of Washington. Anyway, I am hoping my former state decides to vote for Bernie this evening; however, it will be a close contest.
Good people are drifting in…let’s bring the member list to 10,000 soon! How can we make it more exciting? I know…let’s release our resident troll! Everybody loves a good fight! He can say something really negative to set the bait...something like calling Bernie Sanders a vile name. Big Troll loves to call people "pig". That ought to get their attention. Big Troll can use the MSM tactic of quoting another source who quoted Bernie ENTIRELY out of context.
So, went on down to Free Geek today to buy the motherboard that I had my eye on... which had been sold.

[Reputedly] hacked from Little Napoleon's cell phone:
O Hillary, O Hillary
Thy servant I shall always be
O Hillary, O Hillary
I'll sing thy praise when on TV
On DailyKos, my humble blog,
For thee I'll toil and sweat and slog;
O Hillary, O Hillary
I pledge my sacred troth to thee.
Education Secretary John B. King Jr. spoke yesterday at the Education Writers Association national conference in Boston. He was asked about the laws in North Carolina and Mississippi restricting the rights of transgender Americans.
Asked about the laws King called them hateful and said gender identity should be protected.
He said the laws send a problematic message to students and he is calling on state legislatures to repeal them.
My hope is legislators will realize they've made a terrible mistake.
