I just read that Paul Ryan went to the White House to tell President Grump they don't have the votes. Trump's long-promised "beautiful" alternative to repeal and replace the ACA is apparently DOA. I'm not surprised. Their promises were obviously lies and bluster all along. Still, it's enjoyable to see them fail so spectacularly.
One of the major reasons why I identify with the political Left is my habit of questioning pronouncements from voices of authority. In a society dominated by political activists representing the corporate elite, this is generally a good attitude to have if you have a strong personal desire to know The Truth.
This is why I was disappointed to hear pro-Bernie voices pushing the Clinton campaign's meme that Donald Trump's finger on the nuclear button is much scarier than the thought of Hillary Clinton's finger on that button:

I had a very nice lunch with OPOL and nancyjones last Thursday. We met at Pho Dai Loi #2 on Buford Hwy in Atlanta. We talked about the state of things with TOP and with the Primary. They ordered Bun Tom, a vermicelli salad with shrimp; I had pho bo vien. It's very good.

The media and everyone will ignore Bernie and start to focus almost exclusively on Trump and Clinton. Cruz and Kasich will be two baying hounds in the wilderness. Bernie will just keep on keeping on.
