Trump indictment

The Weekly Watch

Another Hot Week of News

Open Thread Image.jpg

This has been our hottest week of the year. Cooler weather is expected as a front moves south and a tropical system moves into the gulf. It was also another very busy news cycle. The BRICS+ meeting had (and will have) a large ripple effect. Trump was indicted yet again, preceded by a widely seen interview with Tucker. The other republican candidates debated. The Ukraine proxy war grinds on as Russian artillery and air power dominates. Wagner's front man, Prigozhin, is presumed dead in plane crash. He's died in one before. DNA evidence has yet to be revealed, however it has been collected. [edit to add: His DNA was identified] The second plane is still a mystery. So, let's dive into these and other stories...

Ukraine Blows IT,

But the Globalist Grab Continues

Open Thread Image.jpg

The bulk of the analysts I respect blame Ukraine for the dam destruction. Col. Macgregor suggests it was the result of collective damage from Ukrainian shelling and a natural failure. I'll post the various views below the fold. However, everyone is in agreement that the Russians are wiping out the counter offensive troops, arms, and equipment in massive attacks. Russia has taken the gloves off, and the west has run out of replacements, but not arrogance. The globalist grab continues along many dimension from Kerry calling for a reduction in cattle farming to the EU and WHO planning on requiring digital ID's and passports. And finally we have Trump's indictments on charges identical to what Biden has been caught doing storing classified documents in various unsecured locations (like his garage). Do these idiots not understand turn about will be fair play and the Biden crime family will be next?

Rebirth

Round and round in the cycle of death and birth

Happy Easter, Passover, and Ramadan! My world is spring green with the season's new leaf crop. Daffodils are largely gone, but the dogwoods are holding their bloom as are the buckeye. I think we are witnessing a major shift in the balance of geopolitical power. I'm hopeful the fall of one empire doesn't lead to another empire, and that perhaps we will mature to a international community of cooperation. I dislike being in a nation which tries to obstruct such a realignment in a last ditch effort to hold sway over the rest of the world, but it is what it is in a country where war is the business model.
