How to get out of jury duty, even when you don't want to

I actually like jury duty. And I consider it a point of honor to be an impartial juror. That said this time the case was scheduled to last 2 months and I had to schedule a neurologist appointment, so maybe my judgment was clouded.
But all I did was tell the truth.
The lawyer for the prosecution asked if anyone would (and we were interpreting that as "could") have difficulty with the government's case just because it was the government. I didn't - honest - but…

gol blast it! It's Wednesday night, isn't it? Well, now I know I should write this thing Monday or Tuesday. But then it wouldn't be topical, would it? I mean, who wants to read about nutballs taking over a backwater wildlife refuge building? Or Saudi Arabia being barbaric? Or Bill planning on campaigning for sHills?

Crossing the Rubicon: I will NOT vote for Hillary.

There's a lot of things I've been wanting to say, but even with a ten year track record are hard to express. Fear of rejection, fear of alienating those I respect, but also the desire to be a part of something I love have held my tongue back.

So today, I say all the things I really think. No censor, no holding back.
