Just stumbled on this Mark Blyth interview on Radio Open Source titled "Blame the Boomers". It is a really enjoyable 50 minute conversation covering a long list of topics.

I think most people here are already familiar with Mark Blyth, author of Austerity: The History of a Dangerous Idea (available online as a large pdf file), and Chris Hedges, the New York Times reporter who covered the revolutions in East Europe, and was forced out of the Times because of his opposition to the Gulf War.

Mark Blyth is a Scottish political scientist and a professor of international political economy at Brown Universit. Blyth first came to my attention when his prediction of Trump's electoral victory--and how it was tied to the vote for Brexit--was widely shared after the USA election.
