A celebration of smiley7

This is a celebration of smiley7, who has long been a friend of mine. We're blog brothers. He's a seriously good guy, as many of you know. Some scoff at the closeness such communion can bring, but not I.

I’m with Pierre.

“There is almost a sensual longing for communion with others who have a large vision. The immense fulfillment of the friendship between those engaged in furthering the evolution of consciousness has a quality impossible to describe.”

Hellraisers Journal: Mother Jones-"Among the comrades we extol, Thy name shall blazon on the scroll."

She was fearless of every danger,
She hated that which was wrong;
She never gave up fighting
Until her breath was gone.

From the Appeal of December 16, 1905:

MOTHER JONES
-----

Here's to you, Mother, Mother Jones.
Foe of the sabre,
When Justice, reigning, Wrong dethrones,
Helped by Love's labor,
Among the comrades we extol
Thy name shall blazon on the scroll,
In memory of one great soul,
Dear, kindly neighbor.

― Albert Camus

Philosophers have believed for centuries that no intrinsic meaning exists in the universe. Here we will summarize three of the major responses to this belief.
