Getting Jill on the Ballot in KS

Hi,

Got email from Jill Stein about their push to get on the ballot in Kansas, they have a deadline of August 1st. Their volunteers have been working for 2 months but only have 1/4 of the signatures they need.

So they have resorted to hiring petitioners to get signatures, and they need quite a few more.

They are using matching funds, so every dollar you contribute will be matched 1:1, up to $250.

Kansas increases its sucking

Once upon a time, I lived in Kansas. At the time the governor was Bob Dole. I was stationed at Fort Leavenworth and worked at the United States Disciplinary Barracks.

To the present:

The Brownback administration has decided that it will not be sufficient to require that transgender people be forced to use the restroom that accords with the sex listed on their birth certificate...since currently one could have the gender changed on a Kansas birth certificate by presenting medical documentation that displays that an anatomical or physiological change has occurred.

When you're down and troubled

And nothing, nothing is going right...

...then I find myself looking for something...anything...to brighten up even the darkest night.

There is Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton, who posted on Facebook about the anti-trans legislation the GOP is promoting in his state.

They are wrong on the issue and wrong on the morality of it in my opinion. I’ll veto it.

UPDATE: BERNIE WINS KANSAS AND NEBRASKA

As for Cruz winning, I'm more scared of him than Trump.

Honestly, was Bernie supposed to win Kansas? I was TOLD today would be another bad day for results, and I know that there are other states where there is an expected less than favorable outcome. But hey, right on Kansas!
