Political hypocrisy is nothing new, but occasionally it rises to comic levels. One of the funniest, although not meaning to be so, is Wall Street lackey Chuck Schumer. Listen to the video in the link. After warning the Nation in somber tones about the impending split in the Repugnant Party, Chuckie unleashes the most astounding effluence of chutzpah, well...in recent days.

While there is often snippets of humor to be found in comments and in some essays, we all too often get bogged down in the day-to-day pouring out of the many problems facing our nation and the world. Most people can only take just so much bad to horrifying news before just throwing their hands up in the air and saying, "Fuck it!"

Is it just me? Could it be "just me?" How can this happen?

I read an essay. I like a comment. I give it a thumbs up.

I'm the first one to do so.

And what do I see there in front of me? A little note that says, "Just you voted." And I feel lost and alone.

For sports fans, the approach of of any sports season generally means good food. Arenas and stadiums are often filled with culinary delights, but, it is hard to argue with food cooked just outside of the stadium. Somehow it tastes even better, even if your vehicle has no tail to gate.

Inspired by Bernie today... so I decided that it would be fun to think about the political parties and their various characteristics. I finally realized that they all have effects and general ways they make people react. Yes, they affect some people differently than others, but in the end, they all aim to alter your behavior and outlook.

The Political Parties and Persons are DRUGS. And it's pretty obvious which ones they are when you think about it.
