Virus as maybe, but things are looking up. Fred's on the porch, soaking up the sun.
In the middle of cooking a Thai green curry, so this will be quick.
What with the recent stillness of life:
Glazunov's 1st piano concerto on in the background. If you like Russian stuff, this will turbo charge your tulips.
This will have to do:
We had three inches of snow last Sunday, and it has been cold since, and what with The Virus, there haven't been many opportunities to take photos of anything particularly interesting.
Stay well and safe.
Bollox Minor and I were reminiscing about life before Covid-19.
Good times.
Here's a shot from last year, when you could go walking, just because:
And then this, because why not.
What to say.
Remember when you could go out, just because...
Fred asks, 'Is it safe out there Dad?'
Made a load of emergency masks over the last few days. Pulled out and played my old clarinet, and cleaned and polished my great-uncle's sword.
Good times.
Stay well.
Happy days.
Well, not really.
As things go from worse to worser, here's a shot, care of Bollox Minor:
Laugh?, I nearly cried.
Good luck everyone.
Listening to her piano concerto once again. A lovely piece and recommended.
Anyway, here's a shot from late last year. Right now, the snow sits as ice. Yuk!
Off to contemplate pesto with sardines.....
It's coming down out there. Nae doubt about it, there'll be shovelling hell tomorrow.
So something from a warmer time:
Cold and snowy here, so a shot from last year.
Now, off down to the bunker..........
Just referring to the fact that I'm listening to the first movement of Ludomir Rozycki's 2nd piano concerto.
Anyway, here's a lonely canal. Rather suits my mood.
Other than that, I've got nothing, aside from the prospect of a nice lamb vindaloo. Some like it hot. Me included, although the appearance of the Polar Vortex next week isn't so yummy.
