After a socialist candidate won in the Bronx, the news media has spilled a lot of ink about how the Democrats are going too far to the left.
Someone should tell the Democratic Party establishment.
A good example is what happened in Rhode Island this week.
Remember how everyone was supposed to boycott the World Cup because of Putin?
There was even an attempt to shame England into having it's football players walk out of the World Cup.
You can watch, and hear your tax dollars fly toward more war, more intervention, more profiteering and ultimately, more refugees to hate on, while kicking back on holiday and telling yourself how great this self-sustaining cycle of violence called the USA is. This is a symptom of decades of domestic psyops having embedded militarism into every phase of our lives…politics, economy and even recreation. This is also another accident waiting to happen.
This might be a bit off from the usual topics of C99P, but I thought a little diversity is a good thing.

So, as I've mentioned, I've been trying to hunt down a physical copy of Antisthenes' "Odyssey" because I'm interested in viewing how the character of Odysseus was viewed by Antisthenes. From what I understand he had a somewhat more nuanced view of the character, and saw his actions as not heroic, but pragmatic. I find that commentary concept fascinating, since it reduces the character somewhat, and yet makes his journey all the more heroic, sans the gods and the mystical creatures.
