As a member of the disaffected left, I feel it is my duty to let you know that I will do whatever I can to throw a monkey wrench into the upcoming election by not voting for your chosen candidate. Period. And I will do my utmost to convince others of the same.

We, the disaffected left, have the power to split this Party. I hope you understand that.

I will never vote for a Democratic establishment/centrist ever. I will vote anything but blue if you shove another centrist down our throats.

Dear #VoteBlueNoMAtterWho "Democrats", your strategy for the 2020 election, to make it all about “beating Trump”, is not only a lie, but a strategy guarantied to give the country, and the world for that matter, another 4 more years of a completely out of control maniac in the White house, who you #VoteBlueNoMatterWho "Democrats" helped put there in the first place.

Nearly ten years ago I wrote a diary titled "Some thoughts on 'Lesser of Two Evils' voting," originally posted to DailyKos.com but preserved for posterity in a WordPress file at that point in 2016 at which DailyKos.com became an instrument of evil. In this piece, I hoped to revisit that diary and add some important reflections it left out.

“US forces carried out an airstrike against Taliban militants on Wednesday, USFOR-A spokesman Colonel Sonny Leggett announced on Twitter. According to the statement, it was a defensive measure, as the Taliban resumed operations against Afghan forces earlier this week. He also noted that the movement’s forces conducted 43 attacks on Afghan troops on Tuesday in Helmand.

To be clear- we are committed to peace, however we have the responsibility to defend our #ANDSF partners. #Afghans & US have complied w/ our agreements; however, Talibs appear intent on squandering this opp. and ignoring the will of the people for #peace.

We base our entire politics on the idea that we're living in a meritocracy. In other words, like the knights of old at a joust, we find out who is best through competition, a competition assumed to be both fair and honest. In the old days, the joust was assumed to be fair and honest because God was both omnipotent and just and therefore, obviously, would not allow a bad man to win.
