Whatcha Think?! Is it Over Soon?

Is Israel done for? Or is that just wishful thinking?

Lee Camp just wrote a piece about it being over for Israel, 'Israel Doesn't Yet Know It's Over: But They're Finding Out Soon'. As usual, it's a pretty good piece, so give it a read.

And this is how much the US gives Israel in Economic and Military Aid. I just want to break down swearing... (from the article by Lee Camp linked above)

Happy Chuseok!

It's the Korean harvest festival holiday Oct. 5-9. 추석; 秋夕; lit. 'autumn eve.' Big holiday in South Korea 15th day of the 8th lunar month. Variations of the holiday are celebrated in the other East Asian countries.

The story below on the US SSBN missile launches in September was just published, I believe by Simone Chun. As far as I know these launches are unprecedented. Usually, I thought they'd launch just one as a test exercise. Looks like it drew a reaction in North Korea.

The Enemy Within?

Did you hear the speeches at the Generals and Admirals gathering. Trump suggested training the armed forces in US cities. We have met the enemy and he is us...WTF. War abroad and at home. So on the target list we have Venezuela, Iran, Russia, China, and democratic party led cities? Quite the list for a peace president. You can't make it up...

As the Turkish proverb goes: “When a clown moves into a palace, he doesn't become a king, the palace becomes a circus”.

Album of the Week 10-4-25

Afternoon folks!

Here we go. Starting off we've got a couple of live albums, one from Albert King and one a compendium of live performances at the Montreux Blues Festival over the years by Luther Allison. After that, we have an album of zydeco from Clifton Chenier. Then shifting gears to blues-rock we have Roy Buchanan's for many years unreleased first album and some later live recordings. We finish up in the diversity bag with Los Straitjackets doing a kind of revved-up surf/rockabilly kinda thing.

Enjoy the tunes, have a great weekend!
