Remember when claiming chemtrails were filled with poisons and were a geoengineering project conducted by our military meant you were a crazy conspiracy theorist? Well, 31 states are trying to ban them, the HHS is supporting the effort. Seems TN did ban them, but found out there is no way to enforce it. One more conspiracy theory is proven to be a conspiracy theory. One ct down, dozens more to go.

Springtime in SoCal. Monday it was sunny and 85. It's slowly regressed through the week and today it's 60° and drizzling. I guess that's better than the heavy rain JtC is dealing with on his weekend getaway.

Got a mixed bag of images tonight. I entered the first two images in the camera club's monthly photo challenge. The subject was close-up/macro. The B&W got 1st place and the watch face tied for 2nd. That helped brighten an otherwise dull day.

We're in the Texas Hill Country for a weekend vacation. We have no wifi so for internet connection we're using one phone for a wifi Hotspot. So to avoid running out the alloted data I'm writing this from my cell phone, with all of the constraints that entails.

I haven't had time to come up with a substantial idea for open thread, thus the title, My Mind is on Vacation.

Friday the enemy intended to land shock troops in Greenland. But this would-be invasion is fizzling into the greatest fiasco since hurricanes wholly sunk those Mongol fleets bent on invading and occupying Japan.

Here, as ever, the enemy. He is a fail. And for the ages.

A few days ago I was listening to the 'radio', or, Pandora, actually. Pandora had created a playlist of early 1980's songs for me and I was jamming and having a blast. Nikko and I were dancing, yes, he dances. Then a Police/Sting song came on: 'King of Pain'. I'd not heard it in a long, long time.

The main problem with Trump is not that he's "corrupt"-- I already laid out in a previous diary why the whole economy runs on "corruption" -- but rather that his attempts to control the world economy through tariffs will instead crash the US economy.
