Time of Change
Recently, the country’s Senate approved a bill to end the seasonal time change and establish a fixed one. However, this still continues as a proposal since the bill has not been approved by the House of Representatives, which means that the mandate must continue to be fulfilled. Two states, Hawaii and Arizona do not make the change because they have their own state laws to keep their hours fixed.
I live on the time cusp between Eastern and Central time, so I convert from fast time to slow time and back on the regular. None the less I wish they would leave time alone.
Now as to the "time of change", we are experiencing the biggest swing in the balance of power in my lifetime, from western hegemony to a multipolar fair and balanced world order centered around the BRICS+ alliance.

Submitted by Battle of Blair... on Sun, 11/06/2022 - 12:24am
The Department of Homeland Security launched a failed operation that ensnared hundreds, if not thousands, of U.S. protesters in what new documents show was as a sweeping, power-hungry effort before the 2020 election to bolster President Donald Trump’s spurious claims about a “terrorist organization” he accused his Democratic rivals of supporting.

Submitted by JtC on Fri, 11/04/2022 - 7:00amSorry I didn't have time yesterday (Thursday) to put anything together. I'll be on the road almost all day today. Leaving out before this publishes, might be able to check in this evening.
So this will be your open thread.
I'll leave you with just one thought. Go out and have some fun. Enjoy life while you still can. Take a walk. Visit some friends or family. Lift your spirits.
There you go man, keep as cool as you can.
Face piles
And piles
Of trials
With smiles.
It riles them to believe
That you perceive
The web they weave
And keep on thinking free. --Moody Blues
There are those that wish you nothing but despair. Those that want you to feel like there's no hope, docile, despondent. They're counting on it. That's why the doom and gloom is so persistent. Don't give them your mind.
Keep on thinking free.
