You are fighting to win, and we support you. If billionaire interests block you from winning the Democratic nomination we urge you to continue the political revolution by running independently of the Democratic Party rather than endorse Hillary Clinton.
The Democrats are now run by sociopaths. They don't believe in fair elections or the right to vote, and neither does Hillary. Hillary is a poisonous, power hungry ogre. I won't vote for her ever, ever ever. I won't vote for anyone that supports her. She is violating the civil right of thousands of Americans. As usual they are smearing Sanders accusing him of their crimes.
You ought to be out raising hell.
This is the fighting age.
Put on your fighting clothes.

Covington Hall and Jack London Respond to the Empire's Call for Blood
I've stopped watching her religiously, so I had missed this discussion by her:
I live for auditory and visual distractions from the floor! -Rachel Maddow
Me, too, Rachel, me too: I also very much want the right to hoot and holler.
Hey guys! Thanks for the love on this piece - but I gotta tell you that while this is mildly interesting since this guy has been in the news the last coupla months or so and we're waiting with baited breath to see what he's going to say at some undetermined point in the future and all.
For those who may have forgotten
NEW YORK, APRIL 29, 2016 -- The United States military today released its investigative report on the attack on the Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) trauma hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan on 3 October 2015. The attack killed 42 people, including 14 MSF staff members, and wounded dozens more.
November 5, 2012:
Absolutely Fabulous: the movie is scheduled for release on July 1. Joanna Lumley, the actress who plays chain-smoking, alcoholic fashion reporter Patsy Stone and Jennifer Saunders, who plays the part of PR agent Edina Monsoon have been interviewed by V Magazine.
The first, desperate to be loved in a lurid Lacroix wardrobe, destroys everything she touches, from her client relationships to her family, while supporting Patsy’s drug-addled life. Frankly, The Devil Wears Prada doesn’t come close to Ab Fab’s mean-spirited depiction of fashion professionals.
In case you haven't followed the show:
Remember: it’s extreme, we’re cartoons. Wearing excessively ill-chosen clothes by high quality, top labels, always two or three sizes too small, that [Edina] put together with hectic abandon. And [Patsy], just a succubus who clings on.
And now Lumley has disclosed that...
So, this is a piece of ancient history of which I was unaware.
I read Pheobe's excellent piece on the current legal situation for the Secretary, but when I got to the Nixonian comparison article, it seemed ironic to me that Clinton was compared to Nixon since I'd read that Rodham had worked as a young lawyer on the impeachment.

In my perusing of the latest articles concerning the great email debate, I happened upon 2 that seem to provide a cumulative insight into some portions of the issue that haven't really adequately been covered.
First, let's look at this supremely succinct commentary/opinion from Investor's Business Daily:
The Open and Shut Case of Hillary Clinton
I am a lifelong Democrat who lives in Ohio. I have voted straight Democratic ticket for the past 35 years and have campaigned for Democrats the last three elections. For the past year I have been campaigning for Bernie Sanders.
Electing Bernie Sanders is America's last chance to redeem herself, to confront the Oligarchy that President Carter and so many others have warned about, to shut down the crime syndicates of GoldmanSachs and CitiGroup, of Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America, to put an end to the greed and lawlessness of the corporate establishment, to break the entrenched power of the degenerate political establishment.

One of the most difficult conversations I've had to have during this election season is my answer to those who claim that Donald Trump is so clearly worse than Hillary that if Hillary wins the nomination it would be crazy not to vote for her to defeat Donald Trump.
I have no feeling to defend either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton. I refuse to accept that framing in toto. It's thinking in the box to such an extent that I can't take it seriously.
Howdy. Just made the leap to caucus99percent (not entirely voluntary, as I've been handed a long timeout at the big Orange). I have no clue what the audience is, but today was a busy day for me on the internet, responding to developments regarding the Democratic platform and the Israel/Palestinian question. I thought I might share some observations. I expect it'll go over better here, anyway.
Meta: I don't know if these types of campaign-related posts are allowed but I thought this email that I just got from Jill is pretty cool and worth sharing.
All Hands on Deck! Two Ways To Build The Revolution in the CA Primary
Vote for Me if You’re Registered Green - Vote for Bernie if You’re Independent or a Democrat
The calls for unity increase on the one hand and the attacks on the left gather steam on the other.
We are treated as spoilt children incapable of making rational decisions.
In 1971, Carlos Casteneda published "A Separate Reality"; a follow on to his first work "The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge". These, and more to follow, purportedly recounted his training in mesoamerican shamanism by the shaman he called Don Juan. His works were at first accepted by many as non-fiction, and there are still some who buy into them. For further revelations, and relevance, jump with me through spacetime to the diary below --
I am not sure if this topic has been brought up today, but if not I wanted to ensure everyone saw the quote from the “esteem” Madeleine Albright regarding Clinton's email scandal.
'Nobody is going to die' from Clinton emails"
In case you don't speak Hebrew (I sure don't), the title phrase translates to "In God's Divine Image."
Now, I'm not religious, identifying as Taoist if asked, but I'm always interested in contextualizing the attacks made by the religious right against trans people. One of the more recent attacks has been that God has a limited view of gender.
Gender identity confusion should not be exploited by social activists — like those in the Obama administration — who want to deny the God-given distinction between the sexes. This is a rebellion against God's plan.
The Bible says 'God made them from the beginning male and female.' Not male, female and question mark. God has determined how many sexes there are—there are two, not three.
Fortunately, people like Jeffress do not have ownership of religion. Southern Baptists are not the only game in town.
A "senior political reporter" at CNN tells us how the Democratic Party bigwigs are busy developing a strategy for pushing Bernie Sanders to the sidelines and uniting the party behind the Anointed One, Her Highness Hillary Robem Clinton. (Okay, so I might have got the middle name slightly wrong.)

From Tucson's Arizona Daily Star: Reports on Cananea Copper Strike
From the Arizona Daily Star of June 2, 1906:
Unemployment drops to below 5%. Great news? Not exactly:
U.S. employers drastically slowed their hiring in May, adding just 38,000 employees, the fewest in more than 5 years and a sign of concern after the economy barely grew in the first three months of the year.
How do you know a lawyer is lying? His/her lips are moving. Thankfully, I came across this ludicrous "journalistic" hypocrisy several hours after dinner. I really don't like to eat shit sandwiches, especially after a nice meal.

[Los Angeles] Woop! Woop! Alert! Some California poll workers have been told to give "provisional" ballots to all independent voters in Tuesday’s Democratic Party.
That’s wrong. That’s evil. That’s sick and illegal.
Okay, let me first start by saying, I encourage everyone to exercise their right to vote (or not) for any candidate that they deem acceptable. Moreover, you have every right to vote for anyone for any office because it is your right and you do not need a reason. However, I believe you need to understand why you support your selected candidate; policies, positions, or political ideology.
