Breaking (sports) news!
Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper has just issued an assessment that the playbook and playoff strategy of the Green Bay Packers has been hacked in a malicious cyber incident by known actors under direction of the New York Giants organization.
Clapper’s key judgments in this assessment about Giants’ preferences and intent are drawn from the behavior of Giants-loyal sports figures, sports media, and pro-Giants sports-talk actors, all of whom the Giants either directly uses to convey messages or who are answerable to the Giants.
Clapper issued these key judgments:
Giants’ efforts to influence the 2016 NFL playoffs represent the most recent expression of Giants’ head coach Benjamin Lee "Ben" McAdoo’s long-standing desire to undermine the Green Bay-led liberal acquisition of a Division title, but these activities demonstrated a significant escalation in directness, level of activity, and scope of effort compared to previous playoffs. We assess Giants General Manager Jerry Reese ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the NFL World Championship. Giants’ goals were to undermine public faith in the Green Bay Packers’ game strategies, denigrate Quarterback Rodgers, and harm his popularity and potential Superbowl title.
This Giants’ influence campaign followed a New York messaging strategy that blends these covert intelligence operations with overt efforts by Giants’ ownership agencies, NFL-funded sports media, third-party intermediaries, and paid sports-blog media users or "trolls."
DHS assesses that the types of systems Giants actors targeted or compromised were not involved in officiating operations.
We assess the Giants will apply lessons learned from its Reese-ordered campaign aimed at the NFL’s playoff process to future game strategies league-wide, including against Packer fans and their tailgating processes.

Now the Giant's apologists will come along
and claim the Packers have been doing it too and that Rodgers takes steroids. The Giants have long been an insidious organization seeking to undermine Packer democracy and freedom. It's not going to work, everybody knows Eli Manning can't handle the frozen tundra.

It's also believed
that the Giants so scared other teams with their influence, that the Detroit Lions committed suicide as they so often do.
Regardless of the path in life I chose, I realize it's always forward, never straight.
Detroit vs. Seattle was on German TV channel "SAT1" last night,
in the wee hours of morning.
Only watched a bit of it, saw the 1st touchdown. Funny hearing it all commented in German, with everything explained in detail for the sake of a viewing audience that presumably didn't grow up with American football and may not understand much yet about the rules and the game.
Edit: it wasn’t on Pro7, it was on SAT1, with NBC branding. And tonight it’s the New York Giants versus the Green Bay Packers, with FOX branding.
I am German and 35 years in the US and still don't
understand the rules ... my son tried to remediate that but has given up on me...![Wink](https://caucus99percent.com/sites/all/modules/smiley/packs/kolobok/wink.gif)

And I’ve been in Germany for 40 years but can’t play skat.
Maybe it doesn’t matter, skat night with the boys being a man thing, anyway.
heh, try "Doppelkopf" that's what my sister plays
with her old friends ... not that she manages to get me to play it too, but...I have still a lot of time to get over myself ...![Wink](https://caucus99percent.com/sites/all/modules/smiley/packs/kolobok/wink.gif)

And the Giants will still lose
Because they have the worst QB in the NFC playoffs...

Geez, beautiful analysis
You must have had the help of at least 5 intelligence agencies and one New York Times editorial writer.
Well, here's a scoop: Hillary Clinton is now in the running for new Giants G.M.
Sadly, it won't help
my beloved NY Football Giants. Eli will find a way to lose. [sigh]

Update: Rodgers has played like he's either hungover or
bought off. The rest of the team has been outplaying the Giants. Giants' offense should be ahead by 14 (at least), but they're losing by a point. They're not very good. Anywho, rec'd!!

You must be a victim of
premature commentation. Great game; hope no injuries are excessive; the astonishing plays Rodgers pulls off (way too often on 3rd down) (but surprisingly free of turnovers) are what we watch football to see. Cheeseheads, anyway.
Glad.....no, ecstatic to see Cobb back, still miss Sam Shields, worried about Jordy : (

jorogo: die hard Bucs fan here. I posted before the half.
Glad Green Bay won. NYG looked terrible. I picked the Pack BTW.![Smile](https://caucus99percent.com/sites/all/modules/smiley/packs/kolobok/smile.gif)
