Framing Values -- Shaping vs Molding

There's a nice Framing Diary over at dKos by Cognitive Politics.

I'm a real sucker for framing, as it works so well for me professionally with my interaction with clients. It also is a great concept for improved learning and communication. Anyway, I got like half way through, about right here:

Do we really need a new party or can we change the DNC?

I used to think, "There is no way this can continue, both parties are corrupt and not salvageable."

But then an outsider came into the party, an outsider that came from a group of outsiders that I used to be a part of before I moved to a closed primary state.

A man with Crazy white hair. A man that shouted a lot, but with passion, sometimes even rage at an unjust system, but never with hate.

A man that Voted with the Democrats more often than Democrats did.

New here; any other Oregon members?

I'm a kos refugee, new here at C99%. I love what I see so far! I'm sick of the 3rd way center-right Democratic party of the last 25 or so years and chuckle when I hear HRC voters refer to themselves as "progressive".
Are there any other Oregon members on here? Anywho I'm happy to join and look forward to making this site my new daily read!

From The Guardian: "Bernie Sanders beats Hillary Clinton in stunning Michigan primary upset"

Bernie Wins Michigan in Big Upset

From The Guardian:

Vermont senator had trailed in polls by more than 20 points but opposition to free trade and growing African American support won votes in rust-belt state

Bernie Sanders pulled off his biggest win of the Democratic presidential race on Tuesday, defeating Hillary Clinton in the Michigan primary on a night which also confirmed strong anti-establishment support for Donald Trump in the battle for the Republican nomination.

In an industrial state hit hard by the decline of manufacturing, the Vermont senator’s consistent opposition to free trade deals appears to have been a decisive factor, but he also showed signs of weakening Clinton’s dominance among African American voters.

Counting my chickens before they hatch

But hey, optimism is sort of necessary if you want to be in a revolution, let's just take it from Nate Silver himself:

If Sanders wins MI tonight, it will break Gary Hart's record in 1984 NH for greatest upset vs. final polling aveage. https://t.co/lSepZ12Kho

So at this point he's up 50/48 with 92% reporting. I think this is a fine time for a Bernie Money Bomb. I just chipped in my $15.

How inconsiderate of Berta Cáceres to get herself assassinated while Hillary Clinton is running for President.

The Hillary trolls are at it again.

While the murder of Berta Cáceres is very tragic, according to the Hillary supporters, the real indecency is not that the U. S. government supports the government behind the death squads, no. The real indecency is that yours truly has dared to publish and link to the reporting of Democracy Now and that report included the words "U.S.-supported coup!" Hillary Clinton's name was not even mentioned.

From a Hillary supporter:

Again, using a diary giving information that everyone on this site will care about to trash Hillary Clinton is just not right. It is wrong. It is not decent.

And more outrage from Hillary supporter:

Nothing except talking about this person who is at great risk should be acceptable in this diary. I don’t know why you cannot understand this. Respect Gustavo Soto and talk about him. There are scores of diaries where you can diss Hillary Clinton. Many. This diary is not about this. This is not political. It is about humanity and a man who is in deep trouble.
