Yes, that is at least in bad taste as there is nothing particularly happy about this day, but "Angry Al-Nakba Day!" and "Despairing Al-Nakba Day!" just don't cut it for me and besides, it illustrates a seriously awful point.
Happy Sunday Morning. This has been one of those weird weeks, so you'll have to forgive me if I don't comment much on the politics of the week. They seem much the same as they were last week, and with the exception of the specific piece of bile the MSM wants to harp about, doesn't seem to be worth paying attention to.
On the heels of the Nevada mess in which rules were changed, votes taken before caucus members were registered and in the room, and repeated violations of Robert's Rules, this new petition is asking for the FBI to investigate (finally). Please sign. It is the least we can do for those people who fought so hard for democracy tonight.
If you were paying attention tonight ( and this morning, it was a loooong day) you had the terrifying privilege of watching democracy be stolen. Not gently. Not with the slow drain of disenfranchisement, nor the creeping hand in a ballot box.
It was public. It was on Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, Periscope and god knows where else. It was blatent. It was shameless.
Nevada showed that are our fears are justified. Our anger is justified.
