NPR gets QE wrong - Again.
Submitted by katie on Mon, 09/12/2016 - 10:47amSo NPR had occasion to mention the federal reserves' policy of QE (quantitive easing) this morning. And once again made the false claim that QE "pumps money into the economy" when the central bank buys bonds.
Generally speaking, this is not how it works, as reserves are interbank payment clearing tools and never leave the banking system. Never, ever.

His main interest is political philosophy, theories of justice, economics, and ethics.

This may seem ghoulish, Right Wing, conspiratorial (or whatever adverse terms you wish to apply) but I think HRC's ship is sinking so fast, it is going to disappear before November 8. With my defunct crystal ball, I predicted this would happen six weeks ago. Things appear to be going according to schedule.
