You see what's going on here. Don't you?

OMG. The killer was a Bernie Bro.
Did B ever call for something like this?
Nope.
So the MSM and DNC and the RNC and all those other f'rs Are now blaming the Bern and his millions of supporters for the random act of a nut job?
Too easy. Too stupid.
But yet, this is the world we live in in Murica.
Crap.

That's the narrative.
From racist chants and chair throwing in the primaries to post-election riot, they've been building a storyline. Never mind that some of these things didn't actually happen at all and the ones that did couldn't be blamed on Sanders. That doesn't fit the story. Even if this shooter hadn't volunteered on the campaign, or whatever they're claiming, he would have been labeled a Bernie Bro., even if they had to issue a retraction later on.
Idolizing a politician is like believing the stripper really likes you.
@Dr. John Carpenter And it's worked real well
I can't find polls on what the general public thinks of Bernie's supporters, but he has 57% favorables. We'll see if the American public falls for this particular shit, but I don't think they will. They're likely to see the guy as a crazy, and not emblematic of anybody else's political beliefs.

Did he throw chairs too?
That's how you can spot a Bernie Bro.
@gjohnsit I think there was an
damage to a car (road rage?)domestic violence and reckless discharge of a firearm in 2006. Does that count?" In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry, and is generally considered to have been a bad move. -- Douglas Adams, The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy "
Doesn't count
Anyone, even a non-Bro can shoot off a gun at a random location.
It's gotta be the throwing of chairs.
@gjohnsit
And don't forget that it must be done in a racist or sexist manner.
Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.
A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
I will wait and see what the reaction on CNN and MsNBC
to this is before getting all worried about it.
If this becomes the story of the next two weeks and Sanders is asked over and over about it, then I will become concerned.
However, I frankly think the Dems have more invested in pushing the Russiagate story at the moment to make too big of a deal about this so-called BernieBro connection to an obviously disturbed individual. To be honest, if they want to look at who should be blamed for this assassination attempt, they should look in a mirror. I felt the same way toward Fox News when Giffords was shot.

Bernie has already issued a public statement
I don't know if this was him being proactive (since he knows how this works), or if it was "encouraged."
Either way, I'm sure this isn't the last we'll hear of it.
(Edited for typo).

We need to stay on this message I think if they go that way.
Just to illustrate the sheer idiocy of their statements.
From a post I just made in another thread:
Because then I am going to tell them:
"fine, lets play that game.
I now blame all Catholics & right to lifers for those few nutters that blow up abortion clinics.
I now blame all Muslims for any act of terror done in the name if Islam.
I now blame all Clinton supporters for inflicting Donald Trump on us and the world.
I blame the DNC for the same with their election shenanigans.
Etc. Etc. Etc."
I doubt they will want to keep playing after that.
If they want to play the blame game, they all have a shit-ton (that's metric right?) more to answer for than progressives do.

the blame game
Those two things are not like the others!
All Catholics are not complicit in the bombings of abortion clinics.
All Muslims are not complicit in the acts of Islamofascist terrorism.
Contrarily, all Clinton supporters and the DNC are responsible for inflicting President Donald Trump on us and the world!

I sorta disagree.
I don't blame "All" the Clinton supporters.
I don't blame "All" the DNC either, after all it was DNC staffers that were responsible for many of leaks exposing their shenanigans.
Sure, there may only be 2 or 3 in each group that don't deserve the blame but I stand by my point that blaming entire groups in a blanket manner is indeed a deeply flawed way to view the world.

I agree
My response is that trickle down and the Democrats and the REpublicans created him just like war in the ME is creating terrorists.

The blaming of whole groups for the actions of one continues...
The level of hypocrisy exhibited below is simply astounding.
Have they totally forgotten their Obama hysteria?
New York Rep. Chris Collins told WBEN radio that Democrats should “tone down” their rhetoric.
“The finger-pointing, the angst, the anger directed at Donald Trump and his supporters … some people react to those things,” he said.
Collins took issue with a “die-in” protest that occurred in his office against the House Republicans’ Obamacare repeal plan. “Let’s hope we can disagree on a more polite, conversational basis and not do things like they did at my office a couple weeks ago,” he said. “It’s gone too far.”
Wow, just wow. What a self-absorbed asshat...

A natural consequence of a "good guy" having a gun.
Even Ana from TYT carries a gun because of all the nut bags and death threats. Doesn't take much thought to realize someone is going to engage in a preemptive strike.
There is no such thing as TMI. It can always be held in reserve for extortion.
A "senseless act of violence"
and "political violence is never acceptable." Sure, but political violence and senseless acts of downright greed, arrogance, willful stupidity, deportation of innocents and cruelty, now that shit ain't senseless at all, is it? And apparently it is more than acceptable here in America as it happens every day! It is certainly acceptable across the rest of the globe, for American's at least.
Sorry, but I really, really hate that the cause of this kind of "senseless act" will NEVER be discussed or analyzed by anyone. Nope, we'll just go along with the lone nutter theory and call it good. That man wasn't driven to this act by despair, he was simply a spoiled brat I guess. Never mind that no one just goes out and starts shooting for absolutely no reason. I cannot help but think this guy was at the end of his rope but no one will talk about how he got there.

It didn't stick to us before. It probably won't stick to us
this time either.
Remember that 57% of the United States views Bernie favorably. Nearly 60% of Americans support Bernie, so it's unlikely that most of them will engage in a vendetta against Bernie supporters. The next step in the narrative is to separate Good Bernie from the Bad Bernie supporters. But even that may not work very well, since, like I said, most of America are Bernie supporters. And the media's credibility--and the credibility of the politicians--is at an all-time low.
This next bit ain't gonna be fun; in fact it will be unpleasant, but I don't believe we, or Bernie, or the ideas associated with Bernie, are going to take permanent damage.
It's possible I'm wrong, because sometimes we the people do, and believe, extremely stupid things. But mostly we don't, especially when our hearts are going in the opposite direction. When we like a person and his ideas, when we ourselves are supporters, we're not going to turn on supporters. We'd be turning on ourselves.
The only place this might have an effect is if the far right decides that Bernie supporters are its enemy.

'Russia-Gate' won't go away, but I expect
that the Bipartisan PtB will use this incident (with the Bernie volunteer) to try and shut down other activities--like the suit against the DNC, and/or especially, what the speculation about Seth Rich that they consider 'CT.'
[Note: I'll try to find the transcript--just heard Seth Rich's father with politicians, denouncing folks for CT surrounding his son. Stay tuned.]
The PtB have gone so far as to totally ignore the blatant conflict of interests regarding Mueller and Comey. IMO, these people will stop at nothing to help FSC save face, in order to pave the way for her to get what was 'stolen' from her in 2016.
(IOW, the Russia narrative is necessary, or she would be a laughingstock were she to make a third run.)
Remember, years after Gabby Giffords was shot in Arizona, in spite of many mental health advocates pointing out the many dangers of taking away the rights of the mentally impaired, Dems were instrumental in passing a bill which did just that--proposed by right-winger Rep Tim Murphy (OH).
I could be wrong, but I expect to see split-screen coverage for a while--allowing the bipartisan corporatist PtB to go on a full frontal attack against those who pooh-pooh 'Russia-Gate,' which therefore impedes their mission to impeach DT, and set up FSC for a Presidential victory in 2020.
How's that for CT?
