What to do? Vignette

Back against the wall; ask for charity? Running out of choices; damn me for not planning.

First time I met the graduate, he was hanging upside down on a balance bar.

Troubled!

James Fenimore Cooper...did Jack London read his works or better yet, did Hemingway read London's works; Thomas Wolfe must have read both and Hemingway read London, no doubt?

"You can never go home again."

cheers

Anthony Quinn told Johnny Carson, late night in the sixties, " A friend is someone you can call any time of day and night and they will respond, be there for you; I've less than a handful of friends, he said!"

I finally got around to watching Last of the Mohicans (1992) with Daniel Day-Lewis a couple of nights ago, it's a great movie. It strays from Cooper's book but the gist of the plot is there.

Smiley, do you need financial help? If you want me to, I'll contact JekyllnHyde, OPOL and 2thanks to set up something at DKos for you. Do you have a paypal account, I can send a little something your way. Tell us what you need.

yeah, I do. I need housing and associated expenses for two months away from home for proton radiation therapy; and I just don't have it.

Stressed and feeling inadequate and lonely to be frank; stress has been building for a few months as you probably know from my posts.

What to do? My plan that was working to live simply got complicated this fall; first with Mom, then with me, all resources moving out and none coming in; complicated by a very late start to the ski season.

I'm maxed out with the banks and C cards already. A collective loan would be great; best actually.

tears flow as I'm guilty for not planning for this; thank god for Medicare so that greater expense is covered.

Cheers for understanding and thanks for interpreting my needs in this vignette.

I have no words that explain; so many more are in worse or similar circumstances.

I'll pm you tomorrow,

we'll work something out, my friend. Try to relax, stress is the last thing you need right now.

can adequately plan for serious medical expenses. Not in this country. Nothing is your fault.

It is a sad vignette. All the beautiful songs and music. Let's think together. One brain is not enough, try to milk ours. Love very much the last piece, Henrik Chaim Goldschmidt playing "Gabriel's Oboe". Your musical posts bring me back to a time in my younger years where I could still enjoy such music. It was dead for some decades and now it's slowly coming back. Thank you for it.
