may you have a happy day and many returns.
I don't understand the meaning of 02-16-26, but that's probably because I am over the Medicare baby birthday and going slowly ... elderly, like in not being fast, especially with the thinking thingies.
I like your vignette today a lot. When I listen to the music offered here every day I slowly learn that I am an old fashioned gal and love me the slow blues and anything slow and with lots of harmony and rhythm. I think I am born in the wrong decade.
I'm gonna miss him when Obama leaves office. Just a phenomenal man and a hardworking, caring POTUS.

I need to search for more detail, but it looks like PBO has hatched up another 'fix' for long-term UE. Some of his last proposals which made EUE (Extended Unemployment Benefits) shrink from 99 Weeks to 73 Weeks, were passed in February 2012.
Also, there have increasingly been measures to make certain 'training'/jobs mandatory, in order to receive various federal benefits. I'll be curious to see if this program will be mandatory, or optional.
Oh, yeah--here's a link to an adorable pic, and story of a young woman with her service dog before her wedding ceremony. [I have some concerns about copying it.]

Hey, nice tune--thanks, Smiley!

Sorry--didn't 'get it.'
My best wishes for a wonderful 65th Birthday, as well!
'show,' unless it has been published. So, I kept going back and forth, trying to figure out 'where' the post went. Duh!
Anyhoo, I'll be mindful of this, the next time I use that function.

Hope folks don't forget about the Dem Debate this evening.
Almost half way through the Sunday Political Shows, I have a sinking feeling that tonight's Debate will be no different from the past ones. For cryin' out loud--after all the heated the rhetoric this week, so far, the Sunday hosts have tossed out a handful of softball questions.
Hopefully, tonight will be different.
If anything [noteworthy] is mentioned about social welfare programs/Social Security/Medicare, I'll try to post a summary at today's OT.
Thanks for the clarification, JtC.
Have a nice afternoon, Everyone!

Everyone thinks they have the best dog, and none of them are wrong.
(the third show host) is being fairly aggressive in his questioning. He just asked FSC if she had yet been interviewed by the FBI. Her answer was 'no.' (That's interesting. Some investigation, eh?)
And Tapper didn't shy away from lobbing direct questioning her about Chelsea's remarks, etc.
Bernie just said that he will (very shortly) release more details on his health care proposal. And, his medical records.

Whoa! Can post a comment, but the diary

If a essay is unpublished...
it gets saved as a draft, if comments are made to it they will show in the recent comments list even though the essay is unpublished.
how can
someone comment on a draft that has not been published?
If it's been published...
long enough for someone to see it and comment in it, then that comment shows in the recent comment list and if anyone clicks the link it will take them to the unpublished essay.
Is this unpublished essay then in pinkish color?
I saw this a couple of times and wondered about it.

Yes...
pinkish background.
Thanks. That's sorta what I figured
that you meant.
