Firstly, Ring(tm) and similar doorbell cameras can pick up and record audio at distances of up to 20 to 30 feet. It is estimated that about 20% of households now have them and many are recording full time, recording anything and everything in reach. In many areas that means sidewalks and public spaces well beyond the owner's property. In apartment complexes the situation is even worse. The USPS has some limited authority to investigate
things like attacks on mail carriers, mail thefts, and shit like that. Under the reign of that asshole that Trump appointed to destroy it, it decided to start spying on all and sundry in order to find all possible "sekurity threats" just like all the other gummit agencies do, no doubt sharing everything with all of them too because that's what our gummit agencies do.

We are more than adequately surveilled, that's for sure.
I recall that those rocking the bot have been well watched as far back as I can remember, and it keeps getting worse and worse.
