Some interesting Trends on Google, Check out these trends in search results.

A couple days ago I mentioned in passing that I wondered what the Google Search results were looking like for a couple key terms.

So, me being me I started poking around.

Let's just say, I don't think the DNC is gonna be particularly happy with their decision making process this election

The first graph we will examine is for the search Term "Change party Affiliation" in the last 30 days.

The next graph represents search interest aslo over the past 30 days Blue bar is "Change Party" red bar is "Join Green Party" :

Also, I took a look at the terms #Demexit

And finally, a look at the trends for Jill Stein(blue) and Green Party (Red).

Well Golly Gee! All those spikes all seemed to happen around the same day. I wonder what could have possibly occurred?

All in all I don't think the DNC is gonna like the looks of this.

Me on the other hand?

I think it's BEAUTIFUL!

Well, if they make up their own votes as they go along, as was done in the Dem Primary, they know - as the more effusive Hillary supporters have been claiming all along - that they don't really need votes or voters beyond the shrinking percentage of blindly loyal Dem voters to sew things up for those they plan to politically/financially rape. As long as there are enough to make it look plausible to the unaware among the public. Which there may not be.

The billionaires and corporate interests we've heard from on both sides are happy with Hillary Clinton as their representative President - does anyone believe that another rigged General isn't possible? Something to plan for and to forestall with eager eyes and videos recording and online everywhere, ready for protest and lawsuits. Because if Bernie doesn't pull off a miracle, the only sane alternative is, indeed, the Greens.

I don't think it's sustainable over time

...and actually, the machine in place currently only cares about getting (and keeping) HRC elected - we'll see what transpires from the upheaval this season.

Alpha, I forgot to ask you the other day when it came up about Demexit--you were gonna go ahead and do it because there wasn't a huge longing to vote in the FL primary in August, for whoever is running in your district. And you did, IIRC. I had thought about doing the same, but District 6 in FL, where Rep Ron DeSantis has been, uh, "holding court", decided to run for Rubio's Senate seat--and the Dem slate of primary candidates is pretty fascinating. Two "carpetbaggers", one who joined the race really late (Jay McGovern, who is from Jax), and two meh Dems. The carpetbaggers are out, and of the two "meh" Dems remaining, I'd been leaning toward Dwayne Taylor (currently serving in the FL State house), but he and the other guy (George Pappas) both seem a tad too "machine Democrat" for my liking.

My district is pathetic (thanks, Gerrymandering!), it goes from south of St. Augustine, cuts west into Putnam for a jaggedy little bit, but then goes on south, to encompass all of Flagler County and parts of Volusia (which is Daytona Beach and vicinity). It's all so red here anyway. Good grief, I no longer have the heart for hanging around just for the primary. Was there ever a formal Demexit date come up with?

Hiya Luna, I am still on the fence on when to send it in.

I already have it in the envelope ready to go but I am still trying to decide on doing it immediately or waiting for #DemExit.

I think the planned Demexit date is the 28th of July if I recall correctly.

Sill looking at the candidates that are available in my district and trying to come up with a reason to vote for any of them but they are all pretty unpalatable however I am gonna give it a few more days consideration before I make my decision on when.

The fact that I am out is a done deal, now it is just comes down to what will be the most effective time to do so.

I keep wavering back and forth between yesterday or the 28th, lol!

We can learn a lot with data analysis

Your data reveals a lot. Makes me want to do some anti-Clinton, anti-Trump, anti-establishment, and anti-2-party searches. Be back in a few.

I can't seem to figure out how to embed images, but here are some trends from 2004 to the present:

Seems like the popularity of the word "corruption" hasn't changed:

But use of the word "fake" sure has grown over the last few years:

As has the word "rigged", with a spike recently, but not as big of a spike as after the NFL's deflategate, because apparently whether Tom Brady deflated some footballs is more important than the fate of the World:

And the word "shill" has been doing really well recently too:

So how do you upload saved images..the "insert image" button only seems to take urls?

I'll have to come back to these, having too hard a time getting the images up.

I was playing around with several keyword trends but didn't want to overload people with so much data in the main body of the Essay that their eyes glazed over half way through.

I use a third party app called Jing

that lets me do screen grabs that it automatically uploads to screencast.

Then, because of the screencast/jing banner causes interference with importing the image I then right click on the image in the jing window and select "Open image in new tab" which then gives me a "Clean" link for embedding the image.

It also allows you to save the image to your computer and then you can upload it to the site, but I only tend to do that if it is something that I wish to keep for future reference.

Here is a link to Jing if you want to play with it, it is an amazing piece of freeware.

I find myself using it for all kinds of stuff.

Makes pausing a video for that perfect shot of that meme worth image easy as hell too, lol!

I started playing with their video software the other day too and it's pretty tight.

Techsmith makes some very powerful tools with an intuitive interface and a small footprint, so far I have been pretty impressed with the stuff that I have tried.
