So Good News:

Judge Tosses Oil and Gas Leases
                  on Nearly One Million Acres of Public Lands

          A federal judge threw out oil and gas leases on nearly one million acres of public lands that are important habitat for the greater sage grouse, arguing that a Trump administration policy that curtailed public input on the leases was "arbitrary and capricious."

          This article highlights why we need to have a progressive in the White House. EcoWatch® Environmental News for a Healthier Planet and Life. Warning: Link will open a new window.

          One million acres is small (trust me, I travel a lot and this is a small area), but it is a start. And by the way most of this land should never be used for wind turbines, or solar panels either, but that is another story.

as in nature, you doom yourself to dust without a cause.
Rust never sleeps. And soon we will all be dust.

          The tatanka — buffalo — are held in high regard by the Lakota people. It is respected as a symbol of the divine because for Native Americans, the buffalo was a “banquet” for the people.

@PriceRip
that humans should go way of the buffalo.
That we should proceed them in extermination would be truely fitting.
We will leave nothing but the scar we have created.
It is, after all, our destination.
But to think that some pray for it is an abomination.

          We, my friends and I, are working to reverse that trend. Unless we change the government we will all fail.

          As I have said many times we have been very successful in the local area where I lived for more than 35 years. But as we all (should) know thinking globally, acting locally only ever produces local systemic change. I and my friends did our part, where the hell were the rest of you???

          If the democrats are able to screw it up again, I don't see a bright future from here to eternity.

@PriceRip
you've given up to the lessor of two.
It's too late for a third party. Enjoy the ride the best you can.
Mom will provide the upkeep of which we have none.
Looks like I'll vote for local change again this year. You have to kill them before they mature.
Peace.

          I am talking about hijacking the goddamn process, Storm the Bastille, get kids like my daughter to force the idiots of the DNC into the future kicking and screaming if need be.

          Your vote for local change is a fucking waste of time. How many times do I have to say it: Been There, Done That. Read what I have said about Kearney, NE for crying out loud!

          Rant over, go back to sleep.

The Utah creeps in congress have been wanting to open up Utah to oil and gas forever. Lots of idiots here think it's a great idea so we can get off foreign oil. No matter how many times people tell them it goes on the world market they still say it's good.

But then they also want all federal lands released to Utah. They think we'd do a better job at keeping them safe. I'm surrounded by idiots.

The legislature effed up our medical marijuana and they admitted that they changed what voters passed because the Mormon church was against it. Now there are a whole 60 doctors qualified to say whether people should use it and chronic back pain isn't even on the list. I'd have to buy a card to get it and renew it every 30 days. Who can afford to do that? But when the few numbers of pharmacies don't get enough business to stay open the legislature will say that people aren't interested in it.

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

          We must make the systemic changes now, we have no choice. This and other sites will be destroyed if we don't defeat the Republicans and the DNC idiots. As I have said above, and all over the place, I know it can be done, but only if we have the will to ram it (the solutions) down "their throats".

lands. They are buying up leases against the possibility of future price increases in oil. Getting public input is a 3 month exercise in futility. They ask for input, 5 groups send out 50 million emails were people click to send their opinion which is really a scam to get your contact info which is resold, then they count the 50 million as 5 because it's only 5 groups saying nothing, and then they sell the leases anyway.
