She shows her great diplomatic skills, indeed, and her position at the UN is totally justified. Well, YMMV.
U.S. slams Russian 'barbarism' in Syria, Moscow says peace almost impossible

The United States on Sunday called Russia's action in Syria "barbarism," not counter-terrorism, while Moscow's U.N. envoy said ending the war "is almost an impossible task now" as Syrian government forces, backed by Moscow, bombed the city of Aleppo.

The United Nations Security Council met on Sunday at the request of the United States, Britain and France to discuss the escalation of fighting in Aleppo following the announcement on Thursday of an offensive by the Syrian army to retake the city.

"What Russia is sponsoring and doing is not counter-terrorism, it is barbarism," U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power, told the 15-member council.

Second video in the article is broadcasting more of Powers words.

Well, it's war. And now everyone is crying for empathy for the victims while being incapable of stopping themselves from continuing bombing and shooting. WTF.

Bundesregierung übt scharfe Kritik an Rolle Russlands im Syrien-Konflikt (German Federal Government in sharp criticism of Russia's role in Syria conflict)
My translation:

Berlin: Russia is in the Federal Government's view, not living up to its responsibilities in the Syria conflict. Government spokesman Seibert called on Moscow to finally stand up for an end to the fighting in Syria. According to Seibert, the Syrian Assad regime could not continue its war against its own population to the current extent without the support of Russia. In connection with the attacks on Aleppo Seibert spoke of barbarism and a flagrant violation of international law. Even today fighter jets have flown serious attacks on Aleppo. There have been, supposedly, deaths and injured.

Oh, I need my beloved lawyers to explain to me who is right and who is wrong. Darn it.

That lead me to search some information about our German government spokesman Steffen Seibert. Unfortunately that's too long an article to translate, but it says in essence that this former journalist of the ZDF, is trusted by Merkel, because he comes up to the point quickly and always "shuts up his mouth" to say nothing. That's the kind we need as a government spokesman. Bravo.

through years/leap years. Day-date coincide on something like a 17 or 19 year cycle. I don't really remember and can be confusing with lunar cycles.

more like crisp-fried to a crackly crunch. Thanks for Betty Carter How High the Moon

Chilly, my familiar is gone. She was my ceiling my basement my everything. On the Equinox I took her to get the big shot that takes away the breath. Only five days earlier went broker diagnosing lung cancer, spreading. It went right to her spine and paralyzed her but her mind was all there. And her heart. Wah. 11 years by my side im solitary depressive disabled since 2003. It is finally okay I am making my peace. Peace be the journey. Not a cry for help or hug just longing for peace that is all. Can no longer afford another companion.

Today I will not (CHP closed road) go up on Pine Mountain where there is a veggie farmer amidst the sea of wine-grapes. I trade weeding and whatever I can do for fresh food for which I have no money. Grateful thanks.

There is a fire nearby, https://twitter.com/hashtag/sawmillfire. It was 100 degrees at the corner store yesterday the sky looked ominous @1:30pm it was 75 acres, this morning 1500. Local rag is conduit for free artisan greed advertising, have a cold one don't think about the homeless people or the shitty wages industry perpetuates. Cheers.

able. Someday I will have to wander up to said mountain, though, for all I know, I did so unknowingly some long years ago. In the meantime I will ponder how it is that mountainiferous grapes and veggies share the same terroir, since the best conditions for the former are really poor for the latter, and vice-versa, or so I understand.

Pine Mountain Gold! That is what I call everything that comes from their ground. Starting with the water, everything spring fed, the people, the animals, the food. There is something about it like magic to me.

These farmers do not grow wine-grapes or cannabis (I asked!) , they simply grow food to feed people, farm to table they bring it. Everything two dollars a pound. Okra, peppers, cucumbers, squash, melons, beans, tomatoes, eggplant. Apples, pears, figs. They preserve as much as possible, I am learning. Took phone pictures in May when the tomato plants we planted were puny, haha! They are yuuge now. Organic, so can't avoid a horn-worm or two amidst the rows. ~shudder~ :-D. It is all so beautiful I am a lucky earth worshiper. Will share your mountain greetings the next time up, thanks. Good day.

Peace

Maybe it will sink in eventually, besides supporting crap insecure monopoly software, private contractors get near zero oversight. Who are the current overseers?

Last year, I went on vacation to Michigan and one of the places we visited was the Music House Museum near Traverse City. It is a don't miss, if you are ever up that way.

Among the many wonderful instruments they had there was a beautiful and ornate player piano that played Rhapsody in Blue as recorded by George Gershwin himself. There are actually two piano parts and Gershwin played them both. Listening to Rhapsody in Blue as played by George Gershwin sent chills down my spine. He was an excellent pianist as well as the most amazing song writer.
