Hey, it's songday. I pick a song that I believe warrants it and publish an assortment of the covers of that song by various persons and or groups. Pick a few that are new to you and have a listen. It is also, of course, an open thread to talk about anything you feel like.
Today's song is: Spoonful
Howlin' Wolf
Etta and Harvey
Dion (sorry, no Belmonts)
The Rats
José Feliciano
The Paul Butterfield Blues Band
The Shadows of Knight
Cream
Q65
The Allman Joys
The Blues Project
Ten Years After
Dirty Blues Band
Index
Jim Ford
Koko Taylor
Alexis Korner & Friends
Leslie West
The Moody Marsden Band
Bad Katherine Sons
Grateful Dead
Harry Manx
Joe Bonamassa
Catherine Russell
Barrelhouse
The Who
George Thorogood & The Destroyers
So, the thread is open, the floor is yours'.

Denver Women's March to grab some lunch. This is huge in every sense of the word- they were expecting 40,000, but this is much, much bigger...
Good to know. Thanks for the news.

Rained cats and dogs this AM
During the scheduled march up in Mentone. We watched Amy's broadcast of the DC march...a little to much $hill for me. Michael Moore spoke, but his speech in NY the other night was better (13 min)

Still recuperating from latest gall bladder-war
I did not attend the local or grab the 3AM buses from Ithaca. The group seemed to all have purple caps to stay unified in DC. Touching.

Recuperating should be your main concern. Thanks for dropping
