"Blowouts For Me, Not For Thee!": Pelosi Sneaks Visit To Closed San Francisco Hair Salon

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) - who invited people to tour Chinatown in late February to prove that coronavirus was 'no big deal' - has just been caught ignoring a San Francisco city ordinance ordering hair salons to remain closed during the pandemic.

Salons in San Francisco had been closed since March and were only notified they could reopen on Sept. 1 for outdoor hairstyling services only.

According to Kious, Pelosi's visit was like a "slap in the face."

"It was a slap in the face that she went in, you know, that she feels that she can just go and get her stuff done while no one else can go in, and I can’t work,” Kious told Fox News, adding that she “can’t believe” the speaker didn’t have a mask on. (From the footage, it appears Pelosi had some kind of covering around her neck.)

We’re supposed to look up to this woman, right? It is just disturbing.

Not so fast, says Kious, who said Pelosi received a wash and blow-dry, but added that "you're not supposed to blow dry hair" according to COVID-19 safety precautions for hair salons.

"We have been shut down for so long, not just me, but most of the small businesses and I just can’t – it’s a feeling – a feeling of being deflated, helpless and honestly beaten down," Kious added. "I have been fighting for six months for a business that took me 12 years to build to reopen."

Philadelphia Mayor Shamed After Eating Indoors In Maryland While His City Remains Shut Down

In yet another example of liberal hypocrisy, Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney is being shamed by his city - whose restaurants he has barred from operating - and forced to apologize after he was spotted dining indoors in Maryland, without a mask, while his city remains shut down. Restaurant owners in the city are irate.

A photograph of Kenney went viral early this week and the mayor's office later confirmed that Kenney was visiting a "friend's restaurant" on Sunday, according to ABC Philadelphia.

Well known Philadelphia restauranteur Marc Vetri unloaded on the mayor on Instagram, writing: "Glad you’re enjoying indoor dining with no social distancing or mask wearing in Maryland tonight while restaurants here in Philly close, suffer and fight for every nickel just to survive. I guess all your press briefings and your narrative of unsafe indoor dining don’t apply to you. Thank you for clearing it all up for us tonight."

Another Philadelphia bar operator commented on a Facebook post about the photo of Kenney: "This took some balls. This f*cker should be flagged from every bar and restaurant in the city."

Looking at that leading photo of Nancy Pelosi, all I can think is "how superficial can one be?”. Instead of real-life animation, she looks like a fabricated imitation of a person. It almost makes me nauseous, especially because of her position and the influence it has. Barf.

@snoopydawg SF visitors, as she and her PA are, would be fully up to date and familiar with all SF COVID-19 restrictions. Plus she was having a bad hair day (which many people can understand) and had to get ready for her closeup when Kennedy won his primary. (Although a top notch PA would have double checked the salon accommodation for #3.)

However, after watching her excuses and defenses, I'm not feeling so generous. Even if it had been legal for the salon to admit one customer, there is no excuse for her not covering her mouth and nose while getting a shampoo, etc. Not doing so betrayed her lack of understanding as to the purpose of a mask. If she were an ordinary visitor/resident of SF she would have put the hairdresser at risk. (As #3 she's likely getting tested on a daily basis and therefore, knows she's not infectious, but she wouldn't publicly disclose that would she?)

She had no evidence that she was "set up." One or more people merely took advantage of an opportunity to show Pelosi doing two no-nos. (Surprised she didn't claim it was Putin.) Considering the sleazy, and likely false, attack on Buttar, my response is now suck it up buttercup Nancy.
